Senior IT Operations Analyst


Signature Consultants is seeking a Senior IT Operations Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The IT Operation Analyst will have direct responsibility for managing change and sustain activities for assigned application(s) to ensure adherence to service level requirements. The employee will work with Business Partners, IT Peers and Vendors to identify operational efficiencies and strategic roadmaps in continued refinement of best in class operations.


Manage internal and vendor teams with the development and deployment of information technology applications, data and infrastructure.

Provide leadership in the strategic vision and benefits of applications and seek continuous infrastructure improvement opportunities.

Work with business partners, IT peers and vendors to facilitate problem resolution.

Manage regulatory and control requirements of assigned application(s).


BS and 7+ years of work technology experience or equivalent work experience

Ability to manage complex problems

Effective and professional oral and written communication skills

Java Experience

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working under the direction of the VP, IT Ops, you will support key research, analysis, coordination, planning and strategy development across a wide array of functions, technical domains and implementation efforts. Secondarily, the role will provide project coordination and other related tasks to ensure the effective delivery required for successful implementations. You'll drive critical, complex data/technical analysis and research to help facilitate decision making, inform strategy, generate recommendations and effectively manage key deliverables. You should be adept at presenting complex decisions in relatable and concise manner. Engagements will require significant interactions with various stakeholders that include IT leadership, business leadership, executive sponsors, subject matter experts, external partners and functional leads across the business/IT. More specifically, you will: * Solve complex problems through critical thinking. * Identify and organize patterns, categories and associations from varied data points. * Facilitate requirements gathering and solution design. * Conduct in-depth IT research and analysis into market trends, patterns, benchmarks. * Provide detailed analysis, reporting and dashboards to facilitate decision making. * Drive/support trade off analysis and generate recommendations. * Facilitate strategy development. * Support SOX and other audit efforts. * Work with technical teams and SMEs to identify issues, problems, opportunities and trends. * Facilitate and participate in process design discussions. * Assist with the creation and maintenance of deliverables such as planning documents, process flows, etc. * Develop and manage detailed schedules. * Develop and execute communication plans and content. * Prepare presentations for executives and key business stakeholders. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and possess strong organizational skills. * Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a variety of tasks/assignments in a dynamic, global environment. * Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy. * Experience effectively managing meetings with local and remote participants. * Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to working with various resources. * High levels of energy, willingness to learn and a positive, achievement-oriented attitude. * Ability to collaborate well with stakeholders to manage conflict, facilitate trade off discussion and decision making. * Strong executive presence for sharing, communicating or presenting information to leadership and key stakeholders. * Effective verbal and written communications skills with focus on relevant, purposeful and clear delivery. * General understanding of IT technologies and frameworks. * Strong understand of finance, cost analysis and benchmarking. * Comfortable working in a matrix or flat organization. * Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project, Visio and SharePoint). * Strong technical skills in MS Excel, developing complex views, using macros and pivot tables. * Experience with ITL, IT Service Management concepts and tools. * Experience utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. * Knowledge of basic Enterprise Architecture concepts. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT or related field; or the recognized equivalent in work experience. * 5 to 10 years of experience in a related position in a corporate environment. * PMP, PRINCE2 or other project certifications, or equivalent experience is a plus but not required. * Lean, Six Sigma, ITSM and EA strongly preferred. * Finance and IT Audit exposure preferred.
