Summary:

As the senior network and Unified Communications Manager, you will lead our organization's network infrastructure and unified communications systems. Reporting to the Director of Technology Operations, your role will be critical in ensuring seamless connectivity, efficient collaboration, and strategic growth through mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, you will take on team leadership responsibilities, guiding and empowering a group of skilled professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Network Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain OneDigital's network architecture and cloud Network support (Azure) including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

• Design, implement, and maintain network and security technology, (i.e., routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless access points, NAC, Remote Access VPN, and Encryption technology).

• Collaborate with vendors to optimize network performance and resolve issues promptly.

• Monitor network health, analyze trends, and proactively address potential bottlenecks.

Unified Communications Management:

• Oversee management of UC cloud platforms including VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools (Dialpad, Zoom, and Teams).

• Drive adoption of UC cloud technologies to enhance communication and productivity.

• Facilitate seamless integration of UC systems during mergers and acquisitions.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Experience:

• Participate in due diligence processes related to network infrastructure and UC systems.

• Assess technical risks, compatibility, and integration challenges during M&A activities.

• Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to ensure successful transitions.

• Lead post-acquisition integration efforts, including network consolidation and UC harmonization.

Team Leadership:

• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide direction and mentorship to network and UC team members.

• Resource Allocation: Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient resource utilization.

• Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and foster professional growth.

• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Vendor Management:

• Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements, and pricing with network and UC vendors.

• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.

Security and Compliance

• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls.

• Collaborate with information security teams to address vulnerabilities. Change

Management and Training:

• Communicate network and UC changes to stakeholders and end-users.

• Provide training on new systems and features.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, IP Addressing, routing, switching, IPSEC VPN, SDWAN,

• Packet Capture and analysis, and normal operations of Active Directory (DNS, DHCP), Windows OS, and deep understanding of OSI model.

• Experience with Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto technologies.

• Experience in managing Networks and Security within Public Cloud (Azure preferred)

• Project management skills for M&A integration.

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Strategic Thinking: Aligning network and UC strategies with organizational goals.

• Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Adaptability: Navigating complex environments during mergers and acquisitions.

• Innovation: Identifying opportunities for technology enhancements.

Education, Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 12+ years of progressive hands-on experience with network operating systems, wide area networks, Local area networks, and telephony systems.

• 12+ years of demonstrated experience with Network/security infrastructure technologies.

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or UC-specific certifications.

Location:

• Must report into the office for the following hybrid work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office from 9-5 ET. This is mandatory. Monday and Friday are remote working days.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
