CURRENT NEED
We are currently looking for a Sr. Internal IT Auditor for our Irving, TX or Alpharetta, GA offices. Candidates are expected to work in a primarily remote environment.
Primary responsibilities:
Perform IT audits, including assessing the design and development of security solutions and their adherence to applicable policies
Develop ad-hoc risk and control matrixes and audit programs, including inherent and residual risks, manual and automated controls, test steps, and documentation to request
Evaluates the design and operating effectiveness of IT internal controls, adherence to established policies and procedures, and regulatory guidance and conducts test work as outlined in the audit work program
Ensure audit issues are appropriately reviewed and associated root causes are validated with the auditee for accuracy and completeness
Supporting responsibilities:
Utilize problem solving skills to add value to areas audited.
Assist in the development of formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and makes recommendations as appropriate.
Facilitate obtaining action plans for issues noted
Lead post engagement issue follow up and resolution
Support other department initiatives and deliverables as needed
Minimum Requirements
2+ years relevant experience in related fields, including IT audit, Operations internal auditing, Governance Risk and Compliance, IT compliance, IT project management, information security, Cybersecurity, software development or technology.
Critical Skills
Working knowledge of IT general controls; logical access to programs and data, backup and recovery, change management, system development lifecycle, physical security
Understanding of workpaper elements and documentation standards
Strong attention to detail
Critical thinking
Skeptical mindset
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access
Desirable Skills & Knowledge
Additional working knowledge of any of the following disciplines is desirable, but not required:
IT Service Management or ITIL disciplines
Major ERP applications, including JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Hyperion
Unix and OS/400 based operating systems
Windows-based networks (in particular, Active Directory)
Cloud based security (AWS, Google Cloud)
TCP/IP networking protocol and TCP/IP-based networks
Databases, firewalls, authentication systems, and cryptography
Education
Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, IT, internal audit or related field with focus on information systems or equivalent work experience.
Desired Certification/Licensure
CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CIA, or CPA

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$83,000 - $138,300
