Senior IT Financial Analyst

Piper Companies is searching for a Senior IT Financial Analyst to work remotely for a private, nonprofit organization in Baltimore, MD. The Senior IT Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the payment lifecycle of Information Services and Technology invoices, from requisition to processing.

Responsibilities of the Senior IT Financial Analyst include:

• Generate reports, surveys, and special projects as per senior management requests, reviewing transactions and preparing summary reports for departmental activity

• Review purchasing contracts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with terms, serving as an escalation point for contract interpretation

• Recommend enhancements to the requisition-to-payment process and record-keeping

• Collaborate with Corporate Contracting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable departments to enhance processes, track payments, and resolve issues

• Ensure adherence to corporate and departmental payment procedures, suggest improvements, and verify contract compliance before reimbursements

• Track Operations Budget and Capital Planning Projects, liaising with project stakeholders to ensure payments are processed

Qualifications for the Senior IT Financial Analyst include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or Master's degree in Finance preferred

• Three years of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, or accounting experience

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information

• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing, and finance-related software programs

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels

• Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities

Compensation for the Senior IT Financial Analyst include:

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 (depending on experience)
