Senior IT Engineer

Gatik's Class 3-7 autonomous box trucks are commercially deployed in multiple markets including Texas, Arkansas, and Ontario, Canada.

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior IT Engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced, execution-oriented team. Gatik's IT Team is responsible for supporting all Employees, managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure (Laptops, Desktops, Cloud Infrastructure) and tools like Atlassian, Okta, Google, etc., Automating IT processes, System Integration and Support to enable and support Gatik's business & Organizational growth.

This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Mountain View, CA office!

What you'll do:

• Administration of SaaS applications: OKTA (+ Workflows), Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian tools (JIRA + Confluence) along with MDM.

• Find opportunities to eliminate manual work through tooling, integrations, and automation.

• Respond to tickets and execute new hire onboarding and user processes

• Setting up Systems, Access, Laptops (Win, Mac, Linux)

• Design, architect, implement and maintain systems and solutions for various IT-related topics, including but not limited to staff computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking, videoconferencing, and printers.

• Partner and collaborate with all business units to help them evaluate hardware and software solutions.

• Administering Meraki, Aruba Wifi, Fortinet Firewall and Switches for Office Networks

• Able to communicate effectively and concisely with the entire company.

• Analyze existing processes, suggest and make improvements, and implement business processes where none exists.

• A desire to learn and expand your horizons; take on new challenges as the business scales.

What we're looking for:

• Prior experience in implementing and administering Google Workspaces, OKTA (+ Workflows), Slack, and JIRA

• Prior experience in using GAM or any other tools for carrying out bulk tasks for managing Google Workspace via a command line

• Prior experience in administering Jamf, JumpCloud or any other MDM tool

• Prior experience with administering macOS, Windows and Linux systems

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Desire to learn new technologies and teach junior members

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in using GAM for managing Google Workspace is a plus

• Apple Support Certification

• Managing a network based on Fortinet & Cisco technology is a plus.

• Previous experience in designing AV hardware and equipment for conference room (Google meet and Zoom) solutions is a plus

• Previous experience with using workflow automation tools (OKTA workflow, workato etc.) is a plus

• Experience with Python scripting is a plus

• Knowledge of various Microsoft Azure components to support development environment is a plus

• Relevant industry certifications or B.S. Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is a plus
