Senior IT Developer

Bucks County Community College has a disparate array of technologies used to provide system operations for the college. The Senior Generalist IT Developer will be a member of the Enterprise Systems team and will be primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of integrations between the College's disparate systems. The development and maintenance of these integrations will be between the College's internal applications, cloud hosted applications, and 3rd party providers. The candidate should be language, platform, and system agnostic since the candidate will be required to develop using various programming languages across several systems. Systems, languages, and platforms include Workday, Colleague, AWS, SQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Visual Studio, and Workday Studio. The candidate should have experience with Workday and Ellucian Colleague.

Salary Range: $65,618 - $84,210 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Ellucian Colleague or Workday with a preference for candidates who are familiar with both.

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing integrations with external partners using Colleague and Workday.

• Demonstrated experience developing within a cloud architecture.

• Demonstrated experience with general system administration.

• Demonstrated experience with relational database engines with preference given to MS SQL Server.

• Practical understanding of architecting and developing at multiple tiers within a typical application stack.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in higher education.

At this time, this position operates on a hybrid schedule, with an on-campus/in-office presence at least three days a week.
