As a Senior Inventory Manager, you will manage our inventory control as we continue to scale our robot fleet into a worldwide commercially available product. Every day, you will track inventory and stock changes for both our Spot and Stretch robots across multiple sites. Every day, you and your team will oversee inventory control and record keeping, inspect inventory and prepare it for use on the production floor.

To succeed in this role, you must be analytical, well-organized and have a great knowledge of current inventory control methods. Additionally, you must have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, have a methodical approach to resolving problems and be able to interface comfortably and effectively both internally and externally at all levels while ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction and support is maintained at all times.

Day to day activities:

  • Establish, track and publish inventory and material movement information and insights as a key resource to sales, manufacturing, finance, procurement and engineering.

  • Manage, inspire and lead the team to enhance wellness, productivity and overall commercial goals

  • Execute inventory transactions in the inventory management system for serialized and non-serialized items

  • Manage production stock levels and enable reorder at the appropriate trigger points

  • Unload and verify deliveries to ensure all necessary information is accurate, detailed and completed

  • Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness at all times

  • Organize and conduct inventory cycle counts, resolve discrepancies and check on a regular basis

  • Undertake stock movement by means of hands or forklift truck (manual or powered)

  • Conduct inventory audits as required

Desired skills:

  • BA/BS degree in related field (supply chain, business, industrial engineering, etc.) preferred or equivalent experience

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role, such as in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, and/or a production environment for a large, technically complex enterprise required.

  • Compliance at all times with customer Health and Safety requirements

  • Advanced general computer skills (spreadsheets, ERP, PowerPoint) required

  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
