Job Description:

As the Senior Inventory Consultant, you will work cross-functionally corporately, as well as directly with store and field management to diagnose and resolve inventory-related issues. In addition, you will partner closely with Operations, Merchandising, and Inventory to identify opportunities and support inventory programs. As the Senior Inventory Consultant, you will develop expert knowledge of the JDA, Promo, Seasonal and DSD processes, as well as systems and applications that support store-level inventory management.

Key Functions of the Job Include:

  • Manages daily, weekly, and monthly tasks associated with inventory programs

  • Completes root cause analysis to identify and resolve store-level inventory-related issues

  • Supports the design, testing, and deployment of systems, applications, and reporting

  • Monitors program reporting/metrics and takes action as appropriate

  • Executes day-to-day inventory support activities (including providing second level HELP Desk support for stores/field management)

  • Develops and monitors communication and training materials for store and field management

  • Creates and maintains standard operating procedures for all responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven high performing as evidenced by consistently high-performance reviews, strong store performance, and exceptional customer feedback

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of front store management systems as well as store systems applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and utilize appropriate data, and think creatively to overcome obstacles

  • Comfortable shifting between multiple and competing priorities within a dynamic environment with an appropriate sense of urgency

  • Ability to collaborate with business partners across the organization, and with all levels of management

  • Ability to clearly communicate (both orally and in writing) information as appropriate based on audience

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Capacity to travel periodically to stores throughout the company

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and applications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access

  • Experience with SQL a plus

Education

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field is preferred
