Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Senior International HR Analyst that will be responsible for expatriate services to dedicated contracts / internal accounts. This position requires working in the Falls Church, VA office a minimum of 3 days per week.
The Senior International HR Analyst will also support the development of global mobility programs and processes for new and existing work. The selected candidate will develop and deliver compliance and service programs for short- and long-term assignees, as well as, compliance programs around business travelers. YOu will work with Human Resources, Program Management teams, and others to develop cross-border solutions and processes for employees on short- or long-term assignment on U.S. Government, foreign government, or commercial contracts. Additionally, you will document processes, support change management, develop communications, and deliver training to stakeholders including employees, managers, and functional departments. Other projects that the successful candidate will contribute to include: country-level global mobility frameworks, business process improvement and automation.
HOW A SENIOR INTERNATIONAL HR ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Work with stakeholders to setup new contracts / internal accounts, and then
General expatriate management and administration services for specific contracts / internal accounts;
Generate international assignment letters;
Maintain expatriate records;
Develop, document, communicate and train stakeholders on international assignment programs and processes;
Support pricing and contract capture efforts with cost projection and compliance framework solutions/options/issues;
Develop template and employee level assignment agreements;
Track expatriate employees via some data entry and reporting;
Contribute to and implement global mobility compliance and service programs.
Provides guidance to management on international HR policies and procedures.
Administers human resource programs for international employees, including primarily expatriates and third country nationals.
Administers programs such as salary administration, tax equalization, differentials, relocation, special hardship, other allowances, and all employee benefits for international personnel.
Reviews personnel actions to ensure fair and equitable application of compensation, human resources, and employee relations policies and practices, as well as compliance with all applicable labor laws.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant human resources procedures and practices, and relevant labor laws.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline and 5+ years of directly related experience
Experience with global mobility including expatriate administration, U.S. non-immigrant visas, and/or administering international HR programs is highly preferred
Knowledge of general human resources practices and procedures
Proficiency in the use of a HRIS such Workday, MS Office including strong Excel skills (must use Pivot Tables), SharePoint and other records and collaboration systems.
Position requires a self-motivated, professional, capable of prioritizing workload and schedule
Effective administrative and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
