Overview

Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial/operational control environment. Facilitates process improvement in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Assists in providing consultation on project management, system implementation and related policy/procedure development. Reasonably assures associated governance, risk management and controls are adequately addressed. Communicates observations and collaborates with appropriate levels of management to facilitate effective business solutions for low to medium identified risks. Monitors the status of outstanding issues to verify resolution is appropriate, timely, and sustained.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, etc.).

  • 3-5 years related experience, with 1-2 years' experience in internal auditing or financial/operational control environment enhancement preferred.

  • Job-related professional designation (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CRISC, CCSA, CMA, etc.), or desire to obtain.

  • Minimal travel to affiliate locations throughout the state of Indiana.
