The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for executing internal audit projects as part of the annual audit plan across financial, IT, and operational processes. The role is also responsible for completing annual controls testing in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The Senior Internal Auditor will assist management with reporting, development of the annual internal audit plan, and will direct and review the work performed by other internal audit personnel.

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will:

• Conduct risk assessments to help identify high-risk exposure areas, assisting Internal Audit management in developing the annual internal audit plan.

• Lead planning, scoping, testing, and reporting activities for financial, operational, and integrated audits throughout the year.

• Perform and review Sarbanes-Oxley 404 key control testing. Appropriately identify exceptions and communicate to internal audit team and management.

• Perform control design evaluation for new or modified processes or systems.

• Propose recommendations for mitigating risks, improving processes, or implementing operational efficiencies, and work with stakeholders to ensure mitigating efforts are implemented.

• Draft internal audit reports to include findings and recommendations to ensure issues, risks and management action plans are clearly communicated.

• Incorporate data analytics and/or automation in audit procedures to drive efficiencies.
