JOB EXPECTATION:

Engage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of cyber and physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation.

PURPOSE:

  • Function a variety of analytical roles on the Insider Threat Team

  • Perform comprehensive threat assessments for Company personnel, assets, and facilities

  • Provide proactive threat prevention and monitoring through intelligence gathering and analysis

  • Provide strategic and tactical analysis, including cyber intelligence, in support of investigative, cyber, crisis and incident response, and other operations

  • Gather, analyze, and disseminate timely and relevant intelligence to key stakeholders

  • Create written reports and oral briefings that summarize the results and relevance of intelligence gathered and analyzed

  • Monitor a variety of open and closed source data feeds in order to assist in the direction, response, and mitigation of potential threats to Company employees and assets

  • Conduct travel safety briefings and security debriefings for employees travelling internationally

  • Generate appropriate traveler requirements and provide equipment (if necessary) for travel to destinations requiring security caution

  • Maintain and operate traveler security alerting systems

  • Support insider threat detection analysis and escalation review

  • Provide insider threat training to lower the risks associated with insider threats and increase employee awareness

  • Identify cyber and physical threats and mitigation strategies, in addition to Insider Threats through cyber intelligence collections. Support the standard procedures for incident response, including but not limited to, Executive and BU Crisis Management Teams, Intelligence Response Team, and the Cyber Response Team. Compile and analyze cyber threat information and identify recommendations or mitigation strategies. Conduct studies and making recommendations to identify cyber threats; threat vectors; threat actors; and threat trends.

  • Provide intelligence support related to security incidents with actual or probable impact to Company locations and/or employees

  • Assist Security Support Services and HR with the hiring process by providing risk assessments for contingent hires

  • Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, on a rotational basis, to deliver immediate action for critical intelligence functions

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Function a variety of analytical roles on the Insider Threat Team

  • Explore and investigate long-term threats to the Enterprise through strategic research and analysis. Provide tactical support for Corporate Security investigations and cyber operations

  • Identify cyber and physical threats and mitigation strategies

  • Research and acquire relevant security information on international destinations for key Company personnel. Synthesize and contextualize content to create international travel and connectivity guidance reports. Provide briefings, both written and oral, to pertinent teams and stakeholders

  • Monitor open and closed source data feeds to detect, investigate, and mitigate the impact of potential threats. Synthesize and contextualize data to understand the strategic implications to the Enterprise and disseminate the information to appropriate parties

  • Maintain and monitor tools detecting issues of concern. Research and evaluate issues, provide written and oral briefings, and escalate, as necessary

  • Maintain an international travel whereabouts database and alert system

  • Provide 24/7 on-call intelligence support, on a rotational basis, to respond to threats and concerns potentially impacting facilities, systems, and/or employees (including travelers)

SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 years of experience analyzing intelligence in law enforcement, intelligence agencies, or in a corporate environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Background in the following intelligence arenas: counterterrorism, domestic terrorism, random acts of violence, workplace violence, counterintelligence, cyber intelligence, cybersecurity, property crimes

  • Experience using analytic techniques to identify trends, fill information gaps, and develop judgements

  • Knowledge of operations, procedures, techniques, and terminology of the intelligence community

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret or top secret clearance

  • Insider threat program certification

  • Experience drafting intelligence reports for Department of Defense (DoD), Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), United States Intelligence Community (USIC), or corporate entities

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Business Intelligence Analyst proactively consults with business partners to develop data models and visualizations that enalbe the provisioning of business insights, and key strategic business decision making processes. The incumbent will work with complex, disparate datasets across multiple database platforms to connect, extract, blend, and cleanse data, preparing it for reporting and analytical modeling. The BI Data Analyst will develop and evolve sales, marketing and marketing product and finance performance, management, and KPI dashboards utilizing business requests and advanced SQL, data visualization (Tableau) and data blending technology(Alteryx). In addition, this role will need to gather and evaluate business requests, develop analytical models and perform exploratory data analysis to proactively provide additional business insight and strategic decision support. The incumbent will work closely with the BI Senior Product Owner and Analyst team as well as key leaders within Individual Investors whom we serve.
