Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Aerostructures team in Chula Vista, California as a Senior Integrated Planning & Scheduling Analyst. You will be experienced in facilitating the development, maintenance, and analysis of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) utilizing Microsoft Project. You will develop the network and integrated workflow of schedule activities to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective plans are established for the scope of work. You will perform analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical path, risk integration, IMS structure, and evaluate trends using common schedule metrics that will guide proposal or program execution. You have excellent communication skills both verbally and written to keep program schedule on track.

This position works onsite at our Chula Vista, California facility.

Eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, develops, and coordinates the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) utilizing Microsoft Project

  • Integrates programs horizontally and vertically across the functional groups of Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Tooling, and Quality

  • Resource loads the IMS for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration

  • Responsible for supporting their respective proposal and/or program by closely working with the Proposal Manager, Program Manager, IPT Leads, and other key program personnel on schedule requirements

  • Responsible for analyzing schedules at least weekly to ensure program requirements are being met

  • Monitors the schedules and reports status to the Program Manager and appropriate IPT Leads

  • Helps to prioritize and expedite tasks as necessary to ensure the schedule requirements are fulfilled

  • Schedules must be accurate and maintained from program inception to transition of program to sustaining production

  • Identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflict

  • Utilizes Gantt, milestone charts, earned value management (EVMS) and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to focus on critical areas

  • Partners with Program Manager and Finance for monthly ETC's, quarterly EACs and all EVMS requirements

  • Regular weekly status meetings and program management reviews will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis and the results of "what-if" exercises to the program leads as well as to customers and senior management as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Prima Vera, or Open Plan to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

  • Experience using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for Integrated Master Schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and evaluating critical paths

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project

  • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization

  • Experience with Milestones Professional and creating Master Phasing Schedules

  • Knowledge of product development/ New Product Introduction (NPI) principles

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
