What you will do-
The Senior Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager is responsible for building culture, processes and systems that enable the execution of the IBP process within one or more Global Business Units. This requires acting as an influential change agent between the Selling Division leaders and the Global Operations leaders to advance culturally to proactively manage our global business to the benefit of our customers and financials.
Develop relationships with key Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents in both the Selling Divisions (Sales/Marketing/Finance/Distribution) & the Global Operations plant network.
Understand the global product strategies for each Global Business Unit.
Lead Global IBP Team (Including: engagement, training & development, and setting/reviewing annual objectives)
Recommend improvements to Global IBP process
Ensure monthly analysis and reports are included in the monthly IBP cadence to show leaders the sales, financial and supply trends and risks. This will involve analyzing Net Requirements from the demand planning teams and handing them off to the Supply Planning organization to enable effective capacity planning. A monthly analytics packet shall be created and utilized to create accountability for the commercial and supply teams.
Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders.
Coordinate the monthly IBP cycle including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions and critical meetings such as Net Requirements Meetings and pre-IBP working meetings and well as IBP meetings.
Manage development, consolidation and communication of global Net Requirements plans.
Facilitate safety stock strategy decisions and report inventory trends and opportunities for DII and E&O reduction.
Conduct periodic Global Business Unit IBP status reviews with all assigned selling divisions. To include presenting on key metrics to divisional executives and will include evaluation of the IBP process with the assigned GBU(s) and metric performance to target.
Provide budget estimations and execute to budget.
What you need-
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management or related
7+ years applicable experience (combined experience within supply chain, planning, S&OP and IBP is preferred)
Hands on work experience with demand/inventory planning in manufacturing environment
Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization
Must have understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies
Must have knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
Background in process improvements, product launches, production or demand planning
International experience or experience working with plants and sales organizations located globally
Strong negotiation & management by influence skills with the ability to drive results through a global matrix structure
Excellent Communication and presentation skills with prior experience presenting to all levels of the organization.
Ability for decisions making, to work under time pressure, and capacity to make good judgment on special situations.
Must be challenged by a team-based environment which places high degree of emphasis on accountability for customer service level, inventory management, cost reduction and quality compliance.
MBA or a Master's in Supply Chain Management or related discipline
Experience in the medical industry
At least 2 years of supervisory/people management experience ideal
Prior experience with demand planning tools such as Oracle Demantra, SAP, Demand Solutions or SteelWedge
APICS certification (or related)
