This position is located in Worcester at the Millbury Learning Center

Create, arrange, organize, coordinate and deliver a training program to educate all employees, regardless of function or level, on the nuances of the Transmission Business and the skills required to perform their jobs.
Assist in the development and implementation of a technical training program for electric and civil engineers in Electric Process and Engineering
Create in Learning Link plans of study for each engineer
Assist in the development of objectives and materials for technical training courses and delivery of the courses
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
At least 3 years of experience as an engineer at a US utility
Skilled within their technical field.
Experience as a trainer, education in a relevant field of education or training, and/or teaching certification desirable
Work collaboratively with stakeholders including Substation Engineering, Protection Engineering, Transmission Planning and Asset Management, Regulatory, Transmission Line Engineering, Transmission Commercial Services, Human Resources and other functions within the Transmission Business.
Demonstrated ability to develop and or direct development of course content including appropriate assessments necessary for training courses.
Demonstrated ability in instructor led delivery of wide range of training materials to small and large diverse audiences.
Effective communication skills - verbal/written and presentation - capable of tailoring communications to meet stakeholder\customer needs
Demonstrates the ability to build an informed, independent opinion of training needs, problems and/or opportunities and develop appropriate solutions.
Knowledge of relevant industry practices, standards and legislation
Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy
