Brown Advisory, a leader in investment management, is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Institutional Product Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have garnered experience within the investment management industry, especially in areas related to registered U.S. funds include Mutual Funds, Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and/or with experience in 40 Act fund administration.
The Senior Institutional Product Analyst will be expected to exhibit a high level of attention to detail in all tasks, whether they involve handling complex financial data or engaging with client requests. A proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential in anticipating the needs of the business and offering timely solutions. Moreover, flexibility will be key in adapting to the evolving needs the business' diverse client base. The selected candidate will be a member of the global institutional funds team in day-to-day functions to related to the management and oversight of the Brown Advisory's U.S. based institutional funds: mutual funds, CITs and ETFs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee operational aspects of Pooled Vehicles: Review NAV calculations, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
Ensure regulatory compliance: Adhere to regulations and guidelines from relevant regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with key stakeholders: Liaise with fund managers, custodians, auditors, and service providers for fund activities.
Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all fund activities.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute detailed fund reports to stakeholders promptly including the Board of Directors (Trustees), management and clients.
Policy and procedure development: Assist in creating and applying fund policies and procedures.
Investor relations: Respond to investor inquiries and provide necessary information.
Process improvement: Enhance ownership processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Cash flow monitoring: Oversee global cash activities across multiple institutional vehicles.
Trading oversight: Monitor short-term trading activities.
Capital movement tracking: Monitor daily investor inflows and outflows.
Fund expansion support: Assist in the launch of new sub-funds and other expansion initiatives.
Cross-divisional collaboration: Work with Brown Advisory's core divisions to support business development and growth.
Sales team support: Offer product expertise and respond to related inquires.
Product knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and capabilities.
Market awareness: Keep updated on product developments, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience
Preferred experience of 2 years in fund administration or 40 Act Fund specific positions
Well-rounded understanding of investment concepts (Equity and Fixed Income needed)
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Excellent communication skills
A calm pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to deliver consistent results.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize day-to-day activities.
Articulate, self-motivated, a quick learner, and a team player.
Appetite to gain industry-approved exams.
Ability to work five days a week in our Baltimore office
