Position Summary
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Infrastructure and Network Engineer who will contribute significantly to the growth of the Cellares team.
The primary focus of this position will be developing and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network and infrastructure through automation, monitoring, and innovative deployments. This position will deliver a resilient technology infrastructure and capabilities to supporting Cellares global and distributed workforce. You'll collaborate with teams across security, corporate engineering, business automation, and external partners to guarantee secure, reliable access to our services and resources.

Responsibilities
Accountable and responsible for the design, implementation, support and continuous refinement of Cellares's global infrastructure and network services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networks solutions that meet business requirements and support growth initiatives
In partnership with the Director, Infrastructure and Security, develop and maintain a multi-year rolling roadmap that optimally reflect strategic business objectives, efficient sequencing, resources and funding
Implements policies, procedures, automation and controls for consistent delivery of high availability services in a cost-effective manner
Support and manage datacenter networks, Wi-Fi, end-user LANs, firewalls, ISP, VPN, WAN acceleration, application load-balancing and a wide array of supporting technologies
Implement and refine monitoring and alerting frameworks to proactively detect and mitigate issues, ensuring high availability and performance
Plan and implement sites migrations from traditional network architecture to Software Defined Access architecture
Develop and maintain secure remote access solutions like VPNs and zero trust architectures to protect company data
Solve modern network issues spanning across LAN, WAN, Datacenter and Cloud infrastructure
Design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management solutions
Provide technical leadership during major incidents and strive to quickly resolve complex network incidents
Partner with IT Security team to ensure security and compliance of network infrastructure
Create and maintain detailed documentation on audit events, security incidents and system changes
Oversee infrastructure and network operations, leveraging Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and internal personnel where needed
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience that demonstrates analytical skills, problem solving, initiative, judgment and decision making and writing ability
7+ years of experience in IT, network, system, or software engineering role
Experience working on automated deployments (e.g. Kubernetes) and expertise in managing cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and especially Azure)
Experience in managing virtualized environments, including Microsoft Azure, VMware and Nutanix Prism
Experience with Identity and Access Management Solutions (e.g. OKTA, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Google Workspace)
Experience with server setups, Windows/ Linux, on-premises AD, and Microsoft Entra
Expertise in network platforms (Palo Alto Networks, Aruba, Azure, VPN)
Expertise in routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)Expertise in building Microsoft Azure transit gateway network and architecture
Expertise in infrastructure monitoring, network performance and backup tools (e.g. Logicmonitor, SumoLogic, rconfig, Unimus)
Ability to prioritize work independently and deliver in a fast-paced tech environment
Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall devices
Experience with Aruba Switching and WiFi
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a commitment to achieving high reliability and uptime
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across teams

$90,000 - $210,000 a year
Cellares total compensation package contains competitive base salaries, highly subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, 401(k) Matching, Free EV Charging, Onsite lunches, and Stock options. All displayed pay ranges are approximate, negotiable, and location dependent.
