Job Posting TitleSenior Infrastructure Engineer - Information Security
The ChallengeWhat We Need The Senior Infrastructure Architect will rely on their passion for security, automation and continuous improvement; and will collaborate closely and frequently with engineers and architects across the information security team; in order to improve the company's overall security posture. They will lead and participate in complex projects, focused on analyzing and monitoring security logs, alarms, and events - to identify and block malicious behavior. Additionally, they will assist in supporting existing security platforms; while continuously improving existing processes through the creation of tools and use of automation.
What you will Do
The Challenge: You will be responsible for the real-time identification and alerting of information security events that pose an immediate risk to GE Appliance's employees, customers, suppliers, partners, or business operations. In addition, you will help Identify, recommend and remediate risk areas to improve the enterprise vulnerability management program.
Analyze and monitor security information / event log data to improve meantime to detect and meantime to respond of cybersecurity incidents.
Conduct incident detection and response tasks, focusing on rapid identification, quarantine, and remediation.
Proactively hunt for security events and identify indicators of compromise.
Assist in the evaluation of technologies that could improve current processes and capabilities.
Manage and support security platforms supporting endpoint protection, encryption, authentication, privileged access, and vulnerability management.
Participate in activities including threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
Work with technical and non-technical teams across the business to encourage security awareness.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer System Engineering
Minimum 5 years of combined experience in security operations and architecture design.
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience
Experience with cloud architecture (AWS preferred).
Proven experience using agile methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization.
CISSP, PMP or related Information Security and Project Management certifications
