About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer...

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business

• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions

• Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements

• Drive solutions to reduce recovery time.

• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations

• Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices

• Design complex system upgrades

• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop

• Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring

• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Collaborate with leadership to define and execute SRE strategy

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

• 4+Years of Oracle/ SQL Server Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, etc

• 2+ years of Shell scripting experience ( Powershell, Bash, ksh, perl, python etc)

• 2+ years of experience managing and scaling infrastructure on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)

• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems for high availability and reliability.

• Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SRE best practices like SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, automation to reduce manual work, implement Infrastructure as code, incident management etc.

• Knowledge and understanding of Database programming skills like complex SQL queries, complex store procedures

• Knowledge and understanding of IIS, .NET application framework

• Knowledge and understanding of Java, Apache, Tomcat application framework

• Outstanding problem solving skills

• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in matrixed organization.

• Experience implementing comprehensive monitoring to track system performance and user experience.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holiday.
