Position:Senior Infotainment Test Automation Engineer
Location: Detroit MI
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

What youll do

Define and Develop interactive Vector CANoe Panels to simulate CAN, LIN and Ethernet for Infotainment Software testing.
Interact with multiple stakeholders (e.g. Systems team, Validation team, Suppliers) to define CANoe panel functionality.
Integration of the models from multiple vehicle domains to enable software verification on test benches.
Provide progress reports to Customer and Tech Mahindras Project Manager
Create and Update CAN database (.dbc) files
Develop CAN test automation solutions for vehicle features and functions testing.
Train and Mentor to team members.
What we are looking for
Essential:
4+ years of experience in Infotainment software testing.
1+ years of experience in test automation using Vector or Intrepid tools
B.S. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in CANoe, CANalyzer, NeoVI, VehicleSpy tools
Good knowledge of CAN/GMLAN/LIN/Ethernet vehicle communication protocols.
Knowledge of XML
Ability to manage complex problems and propose solutions
Self-motivated; results-driven individual. Must be passionate about the work.
Strong in oral and written communication skills

Job Overview Detroit's Mechatronics department is a fast moving and rewarding new product development group responsible for development of powertrain control systems, on-board diagnostics, software, tools, and mechatronics hardware. * This position will specifically require application of engineering principles to test and validate complex powertrain controls software, functions and features that set the industry benchmark for performance, fuel efficiency, cost, reliability and safety. * This position will provide career development and experience in a wide range of technical and project activities including software testing, project management, resource coordination, and leadership development. * You will have opportunity to work closely with various cross-functional engineering areas within Detroit and DTNA. * There will also be opportunities to collaborate with Daimler's global engineering network. * You will generate and implement ideas to continuously improve the work environment, systems, tools, and processes. Responsibilities * Analyze software requirements. Develop test plans and software test scripts to test powertrain, engine and aftertreatment features & functions on dSPACE HiL test platform.
