The BGS IT BusinessPartners - Supply Chain Management team is looking for a Senior InformationTechnology Manager to support Boeing Global Services. This position will be located in Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manageand integrate activities across information technologies in the delivery and supportof systems and services for BGS Supply Chain Distribution capability.

  • Leadthe IT organization for Aviall, providing solutions for efficient delivery ofafter-market parts, equipment and services distribution to the aviationindustry.

  • Developand execute integrated IT organizational plans, policies and procedures andguides the development of business and technical strategies, goals andobjectives.

  • Advancethe technical strategy of Boeing IT while aligning solutions with the needs ofthe Aviall Supply Chain Management (SCM) business.

  • Developand maintain productive relationships and partnerships with customers,employees, peers, and IT service providers.

  • Engagewith BGS SCM business leadership in developing IT strategy, planning andexecution.

  • Provideoversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes, anddelivered solutions.

  • Plan,deploy, integrate and support standard Boeing enterprise solutions to Aviall toenable long term business success.

  • Manageand provide developmental opportunities for IT employees, responsible for theongoing growth of leadership and technical skills across the team.

  • Demonstrateknowledge of the full range of IT technology and service delivery, andsufficient business and operations knowledge to make independent decisions thatadd clear value to the SCM business. Plan, acquire and coordinate all resources for IT development andsustainment activities for the Aviall business.

  • Proactivelycommunicate with leadership team, peers and customers. Keeps IT stakeholdersinformed of SCM business vision and strategies, and ensures SCM businessleaders remain current on IT technology direction and capabilities.

  • Ensureoverall IT budgets, schedules and performance standards are realistically setand attained.

  • Generaterequirements and analyzes technical approach, statement of work, labor anddeliverables for programs or projects to ensure quality solutions aredelivered.

  • Participatein make/buy decisions and recommends source selection for programs andprojects.

  • Identifywhere conflicts/synergy opportunities exist between IT technical services andthe BGS SCM business and leads plans to drive commonality.

  • Developand supports a culture of sharing across Boeing, and connecting the threebusiness units, bringing forth innovative ideas, replicating best practices andtechnologies to improve program/business results.

This position must meet

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+years of Management experience

  • Previousexperience creating IT solutions that drive innovation increasing growth andproductivity for the business.

  • Previousexperience supporting information technology teams with the ability tounderstand the technical language used.

  • Previousexperience managing Information Technology projects.

  • Previousexperience working with or within multiple areas of Information Technology.

  • Bachelor'sdegree or higher required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previousexperience with IT in supply chain operations.
