This position provides support to management through effective reporting of operational and strategic report requests for various Medicare network projects. Working on business requirements that are data intensive and includes development of data analytics, project management, and documentation.
Analyze and reconcile nationwide Medicare network adequacy by building reports and ensuring the data is accurate and interpreted
Contribute to the formulation, preparation and communication of strategic business requirements by providing data to support and monitor the organizations strategic direction
Develop reporting initiatives and improve current process and tools
Work to ensure all reporting is accurate, understanding overall process including those outside of the data structure confirming best practices are in place
Must have knowledge and understanding of relational databases
3+ years of data analytical reporting experience.
Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sets and data interpretation for business area.
Advanced proficiency skills in MS Access database queries and Excel is required
SQL Server report queries experience is desirable.
Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of health care products, and systems.
Exposure to Enterprise Provider Database (EPDB) system or working in a data warehouse environment is desirable
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Able to present information to various audiences.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
