RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs time and motion studies using a standardized method (such as MOST), for both machine based and labor based operations optimization in manufacturing.

  • Creates and publishes manufacturing work instructions using PC based desktop publishing, CAD and other application programs.

  • Conducts studies of work centers of equipment and hand-pack operations to maximize workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.

  • Prepares throughput expectations and standard costs for new products and/or processes

  • Prepares layouts of shop floor processes and equipment to ensure optimal process flow and minimization of WIP inventory

  • Responsible for preparation, implementation, and training of manufacturing process documentation

  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned manufacturing processes meet all applicable safety and ergonomic requirements and best management practices

  • Recommends: capital improvements for new products and processes; tooling and equipment upgrades; and cost saving projects

  • Prepares capital expenditure requests (CAR/BKs), procures tooling and equipment, controls capital expenditures within the approved budget, and secures the planned payback on the investment

  • Responsible for participating in the preparation of expense budgets in assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with annual profit plan timetables and guidelines

  • Ensures conformance to quality requirements via proper manufacturing process design and execution

  • Identifies, recommends, and pursues cost savings initiatives from start to finish.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree required

  • 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a high volume/cost sensitive manufacturing environment.

  • Must be proficient in PC-based application programs including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and desktop publishing (MS Office), project management (MS Project), and CAD (Auto CAD and SolidWorks).

Job Summary: The Senior Telecommunications Engineer will design, implement and administer global telecommunications systems across the Water Quality Group of companies within Danaher. You are a key resource in supporting business goals through continual improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce cost. You'll get exposure not just to one company, but several! We're looking for a teammate who has experience with Cisco Call Manager & Cisco Contact Center who can help us further standardize our telecommunications structure and build the best in class service to our organization. Responsibilities: Drives for Results * Partner with Water Quality businesses to understand and support their goals through innovative solutions. * Strong desire to exceed our customer's expectations every day through detailed action plans, organizational change and customer service. Charts the Course (Process Improvement) * Develop and maintain telecommunications policies, procedures, and standard work. * Develop and maintain 3-year roadmap of telecommunications technologies. * Develop and maintain KPI and daily management metrics. * Develop and maintain action plans and project schedules. Relationships and Influence * Gather, organize, process, and communicate data, including reports, metrics, and documentation. * Provide guidance to team members and perform limited supervisory duties, as required. * Work with vendors and carriers to handle services and maintain costs. * Other projects, duties, and responsibilities, as required. Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who can foster innovation and deliver results. * Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise Specialist certification or at least 3 years' experience supporting and managing a global Cisco PCCE environment. * Cisco Certified Network Professional or at least 1 year of related experience supporting and configuring SIP, CUBE, and related technologies. * Experience supporting and managing Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Unity. * Experience using SQL database queries to troubleshoot Cisco CUCM and PCCE preferred. * Experience with Upstream Works for Finesse preferred. * Experience with call reporting, Contact Center reporting and Calabrio call recording preferred. * Experience with Microsoft 365 Business Voice an asset. * Ability to travel globally up to 10% of the time. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $80K - 1$10K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
