Position Summary:

The Senior Implementation Specialist will manage a multitude of large-scale integration projects within the IT Operations department. The position will have matrixed responsibility to the IT Program Management Office to ensure compliance with SiruisXM Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) standards and participate in the Application Project Planning where the services of IT Operations are required to coordinate and deliver.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project management support for integrated implementations within the IT Operations and Services area.

  • Provide hands-on project management and actively manage project plans, deliverables, dependencies, outcome and stakeholder communications for assigned projects within the agreed upon timeframe and guidelines.

  • Create, update and facilitate the execution of project work plans using Planview, including identification of resources needed and assignment of individual responsibilities.

  • Prepare communication plans and related project status reports to key stakeholders to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Define and manage overall change control processes and validation aspects of the project to ensure project success.

  • Establish, manage and motivate teams dedicated to each project to meet expected deliverables and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 10+ years of professional IT experience.

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with IT Service Management methodology.

  • Experience in IT requirements gathering required.

  • PMP or ITIL Certification desired.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Your day-to-day * Establish a clear technical and architectural vision for the Pre-Sales group and other teams that integrate with the group's products and services. * Demonstrate a strong passion for continuous learning and a driving intellectual curiosity by bringing fresh perspectives on leading industry standards, best practices, emerging trends and direction. * Build alone or with others, proof of concepts for new ideas and later, support engineering efforts to bring those to production level code. * Engage with new and existing enterprise customers, as a technical expert, working with Proofpoint Sales Engineers and Consultants, leading the project to implement Proofpoint solutions. * Work collaboratively with other departments, including Sales, Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management, to ensure successful product direction and project delivery * Manage project escalations as necessary and drive issues to resolution * Collaborate with Pre and Post Sales managers and other departments in building Pre-Sales Proof of Concept Best Practices * Maintain technical Best Practices documentation What you bring to the team * BSCS or equivalent * 5+ years experience with Active Directory and Exchange for both on-prem and O365 * 5+ years experience in e-communications archiving * 5+ years experience in the Financial Services industry, either working with a top tier bank in supporting the broker dealer division, or delivering services for the Financial Services industry in Archive, Supervision, or eDiscovery * 5+ years industry experience in a customer-facing services role * A thorough background of Internet protocols and how they work (HTTP, SMTP, FTP, etc.) * Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocols, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.) * Experience with various social media platforms like Teams/Skype/Slack etc. * Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal * Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage and execute against a complex sequence of events * Strong attention to detail while maintaining sight of the big picture * Team Player and Self-Starter with the ability to build trust with team members * Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically * Resourceful and innovative at tackling complex challenges in a timely matter. * Adept at conflict resolution: This job entails working with a variety of people and personalities. * Some travel required #LI-RR1 If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
