The Senior HWIL Simulation Engineer position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will contribute to the design, development, integration and test of a real-time Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) system for DoD applications. This individual will lead the development of HWIL solutions for a wide range of missile defense projects. The individual will report to a Program Director.
Lead and/or support the development and implementation of HWIL system architecture
Lead and/or support the development of real-time software and hardware drivers using C, C++, on Linux operating systems
Support HWIL hardware design solutions to include design analog and digital circuits, design serial interfaces, identify and evaluate test equipment and specialized hardware devices, etc.
Implement technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques in the development of HWIL system solutions.
Interface with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL) and stake holders to ensure program objectives are achieved.

Skills and Competencies:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree is required. MS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of relevant HWIIL systems experience required
Demonstrated experience with C/C++, Linux operating systems is required
Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW is highly desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize work effective and handle multiple tasks at a time
Familiarity with Agile development practices is desired
Experience with Spirent GPS simulator is highly desired
U.S. Citizenship and active SECRET security clearance required.
