Position Overview:

The Senior HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for performing various reporting and analytics tasks and assuring quality of data processing tasks like managing multiple internal databases, keeping employee records in digital formats, and educating users on how to use our HR systems. The ideal candidate should have experience with reporting, systems, and database administration using Human Resources Management software, like HRIS, payroll, learning management, applicant tracking systems, and survey tools. Ultimately, the Senior HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for the proper and effective operation of our HR software, data quality, reporting, analysis and system integrations.

Responsibilities:

HR Support, Data & Analysis:

  • Systems administration including maintaining and improving system integrations

  • Oversee data quality, reconciliation and validation of people and payroll data

  • Maintain HR Metrics, analyze and summarize data and reports for presentation

  • Launch, analyze, disseminate survey and employee listening insights and support efforts in mobilizing the company towards actioning those insights

  • Develop data processing guidelines and operating procedures and audit for compliance

  • Create new accounts and manage access permissions

  • Train new hires and system users on functionalities and new features

  • Troubleshoot and report technical issues

  • Maintain knowledge and serve as back up for payroll processing

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations

  • Completes various research projects and/or special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a concentration in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Management, Information Systems, or related area. Master's degree or coursework in data analytics degree preferred.

  • 5-7 years of prior HR experience including a specialization in analytics, technology, or related area.

  • Hands-on experience with HR technology, databases or ERPs (Oracle is a plus)

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills including (Excel pivot tables. PowerBI or Tableau a plus)

  • Hands-on experience preparing presentations in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and data protection regulations

  • Attentive to details and deadlines

  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • A high-achieving work ethic, actively identifying opportunities for process improvement

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven teamwork capabilities

  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

  • This position may be filled at a different level, depending on experience*

Compensation

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $95,000 to $105,000.
