Job Title

Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources site leadership in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: change management, employment law, employee relations, labor law, labor relations, organizational development, salary administration, performance management, training, recruitment and various other HR-related programs/initiatives. This position will assist with coordinating new hire orientation, data entry into the HRIS System, administration of leadership training initiatives across the site, and will support site wide events, communications and initiatives in conjunction with the HRBP's and HR COE staff as appropriate.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of Human Resources services for the Harmans site. Key responsibilities include policy administration, staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, organizational development, HR regulatory compliance to meet the business strategies and customer requirements for the site.

The Role

Job Duties:

  • Develops and delivers policies, procedures, plans and programs dealing with the specific activities of staffing, employee relations, labor relations, compensation and benefits, employee talent development and training, HR information systems and payroll systems to meet the site's business plan and competitive strategy in a cost-effective manner.

  • Establishes and maintains an effective and credible relationship with both management and employees; works closely with line management to provide support, planning and problem solving; fosters open communication with business partners and employee population.

  • Develops, implements, and administers an effective performance management system aimed at improving employee and organizational productivity.

  • Develops training and development plans to meet regulatory compliance while focusing on building the critical skills and competencies required to handle present and future jobs more effectively.

  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, supports the site's recruitment efforts; manages the process for selection and placement of qualified managers and personnel with the required technical and management skills in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of site's new hire orientation and training programs; delivers presentations as appropriate.

  • Facilitates return-to-work cases and makes judgment on reasonable accommodations. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and provides summary and trending data to senior management.

  • Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System components relevant to this position.

The Candidate

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent) required. Master's Degree, PHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in human resources required. Experience in a supervisory or management role a plus.

  • Exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare or related technical industries is preferred. Experience supporting a manufacturing environment (24x7 scheduling variations) is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge in HR management concepts with strong consultative skills.

  • Demonstrated success to collaborate with others and think independently. Knowledge of employment and labor law.

  • Analytical ability, both interpersonal and issue-related; good judgment and ethics; professional presence and demeanor; strong interpersonal skills and political savvy.

  • Ability to "get the job done" and take responsibility for results without direct authority; ability to coordinate, facilitate and organize resources.

  • Ability to develop strategic relationship; strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills, adaptable to the level of audience.

The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Validation is responsible for providing Quality Assurance oversight of Paragons Facilities and Equipment Quality Systems to ensure compliance with applicable US/EU regulations, guidance's, industry standards and Paragon policies/procedures supporting the Phase I/II clinical GMP manufacturing of biological drug substance and drug product. The Role * Manage, direct, and supervise the Quality Validation Team. Includes ensuring site goals and objectives are aligned with teams' directives as well as leading/coaching/mentoring individuals within the department. * Serve as the QA liaison with the Facility, Engineering and Validation organizations to support company goals, client projects, continuous improvement initiatives and as a general resource. * QA representative for the Commissioning, Qualification and Validation effort for new facility builds and expansion projects. Review and approval of documentation related to CQV approach; including user specifications, impact assessments, commissioning and validation protocols. * Review and approval of Protocols and Summary Reports for Equipment Installation/Operational/Performance Qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) used in the manufacture of cell banks, biological drug substance and parenteral drug product in a multi-product facility. Examples of equipment includes fermenters, bioreactors, chromatography systems, controlled temperature units, filling/stoppering machines, autoclaves and critical utilities. * Review and approval of Protocols and Summary Reports for other validation activities including Cleaning Verification (CV) Studies, Aseptic Process Simulation Studies, Sterilization Validations, Temperature Mapping Studies and other miscellaneous validation activities. Support review of the facility Validation Master Plan (VMP). * Support the Computerized System Validation Lifecycle to ensure compliance to 21 CFR Part 11, Eudralex Annex 11 and applicable FDA/EMA Guidance's on electronic data integrity. Review and approval of User Requirement Specifications (URS), Computerized System Risk Assessments, 21CFRPart 11/Annex 11 Assessments, Protocols, Test Scripts, Summary Reports and other applicable documentation. * Provide QA support of the Calibration Program, including review and approval of new calibration procedures, completed calibrations, and compliance to the calibration schedule. Review Out of Tolerances and support investigations evaluating product impact.
