Blackstone's Federal Practice is looking for a Senior Human Resources Consultant position to support clients in all aspects of HR including, but not limited to, the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of HR related systems.
Liaise extensively with the business units and external vendors to analyze existing systems, business models, identify new requirements and to optimize processes for both technical and business suitability
Explore and develop future solutions and provide guidance for both technical and business suitability
Serve as subject matter expert in the specific areas of the business processes of the HR processes such as recruitment, on-boarding, learning, data maintenance, benefits administration or payroll
Work closely with colleagues, developers to support a variety of end users ensuring system compatibility and user satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
10+ years or relevant experience, at least some of which at a large organization
4 year degree or additional years of relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive working knowledge of federal employment laws.
Experience developing HR policy/handbooks to reflect employment laws and practices.
Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance
Active DHS clearance
Knowledge of Atlassian toolsets
Familiar with BPMN 2.0 and other process modeling methodologies
Good project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Initiative, assertiveness, and resourcefulness to address customer needs
Superior teamwork and collaboration skill
