Senior Human Resources Business Partner
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business' financial position, its culture and its competition.
You will work collaboratively with the larger Human Resources team and business units managing employee relations, HR programs, culture, and engagement initiatives
Consult with business leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate
Cultivate deep understanding of business unit needs, trends and metrics and utilize this information to work in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
Provide HR program and policy guidance and interpretation
Provide guidance and input on business unit workforce planning and succession planning
Ability to travel as needed
What You Bring
8+ years' experience in a human resources business partner role
Experience resolving complex employee relations issues
Experience with HRIS and other human resources tools and systems
Ability to consult with business leaders at all levels
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, and federal and state respective employment laws
A four-year degree
SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR Certification is preferred
