IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to grow with us as our 1300+ person company continues to expand. This position will be responsible for the implementation and administration of HR programs, and at the professional level, provide management and employees with a full range of human resources services across all functional areas including Employee Relations, Employment Policies and Practices, Performance Management, and Learning and Development activities. #LI-HYBRID
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to senior leaders at IXL
Work on critical organizational issues and provide meaningful coaching to the assigned group leaders
Partner with the Sales, Customer Success and other leaders to deliver HR strategies and programs such as - onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations
Play an active role in delivering and executing HR priorities for the assigned client groups
Roll out corporate initiatives to assigned global groups (e.g., policies, initiatives, etc.)
Work closely with HR Operations team in a cross-functional capacity to provide day-to-day support to enhance HR programs based on business needs
Advise managers on HR policies, their interpretation, and application
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; help prepare and maintain the employee handbook
Audit and analyze data as well as propose methods for continuous improvement
Participate in the design and implementation of programs that build employee engagement and retention
Stay current on best industry practices that can be applied and/or implemented within the organization and maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree; HR coursework preferred
8+ years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope, partnering directly with senior leaders, including supporting teams in a growing company
Strong knowledge of Employment Laws, Compliance, Immigration, and best practices
Experience in the following areas strongly preferred: Employee Relations, Employment Policies and Practices, Performance Management, and Learning and Development activities
Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously to completion
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly
Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office Suite, HRIS systems; Workday experience a plus
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
