Position Summary:

As the strategic partner to the multiple departments and functions, including Executive Committee members and Senior Leaders, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) will lead the creation of the applicable people strategy and deliver solutions that enable the business to achieve their strategic initiatives in alignment to the organizational objectives. The Sr HRBP will be responsible to facilitate and deliver key talent programs including performance, culture, engagement & retention, talent development, training, etc. To be successful, this individual will have a proven ability to build trusting relationships, influence, and partner with all leaders across the organization and demonstrate the ability to succeed in an agile, fast paced, and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the trusted advisor to Executives, members of the Senior Leadership Team, and their teams in the areas of organizational development, talent management, engagement, rewards and change management

  • Work closely with the business to develop a robust workforce and talent plan that supports the functional goals, anticipated growth and builds strategic capabilities to enable the long-range plan

  • Provide guidance and advice to leadership teams, managers and colleagues on all human resource and people management issues; identifies the root cause of issues and recommends and executes appropriate plans to develop people, optimize structure and create an engaged culture.

  • Develop and lead high performing team workshops for the functional leadership teams in partnership with HR Centers of Excellences leads and functional training teams.

  • Work with business and HR Centers of Excellences to ensure effective and timely delivery of programs like Performance Management, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, & Talent Movement

  • In partnership with functional leadership teams, identify gaps in operational and leadership effectiveness within the function, develop, and implement plan to close the gaps

  • Support corporate culture, values, and leadership commitments and leads employee and manager engagement initiatives to foster teamwork and enhance employee engagement aligned with corporate values and leadership commitments

  • Formulate strategies to develop bench-strength and succession plans by leading talent management processes and where needed identify new talent needs

  • Ensure effective communication strategies to foster alignment between functions and program teams, cross-functional partners and global, regional, local colleagues

  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative people analytics data to recommend well-informed solutions for respective client groups

  • Be the primary point for the operational delivery of HR needs inclusive of managing all employee relations matters for assigned areas of the business

  • Helps drive a positive employee culture within a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.

  • Promote and foster a healthy work environment; raise awareness of available programs to assist employees; implement appropriate employee engagement programs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required with relevant industry experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in HR required with a minimum of 4+ years as an HRBP

  • Experience with strategic and tactical HR solution creation and delivery

  • Previous experience in high growth environment

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and multi-state respective employment laws.

  • Prior experience in the Bio-tech industry is strongly preferred

  • Strong influencing and facilitation skills with aptitude to foster collaborative partnerships with senior leadership, peers and colleagues at all levels

  • Highly organized, results driven, problem solver

  • Operate independently and experienced to know when to escalate issues

Superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to work across different levels of management

  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving ability and sound judgement ability

  • Strong leadership, team building, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated skills in project and program management

  • Expected travel to the Company's headquarters.

  • Additional travel may be required
