Sr. Human Resources Business Partner Alexa Data Services. Alexa Data Services (ADS) is part of the Alexa organization and looking for a motivated and talented HRBP based in Boston, MA. As an HRBP, you will partner with your business leaders to establish and implement HR strategies that foster the organization and people development for the US operations teams of Alexa. This role will be an integral member of the ADS HR organization and will partner closely with country/region HRBPs across several locales globally.
The Sr. HRBP will focus on developing and implementing an HR strategy that ensures that these strategies are aligned with the business objectives and Amazon's culture. This Sr. HRBP will partner with the various operations leaders along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. The individual in this role will assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, retention and leadership development, and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas.
Drive informed decision making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues; develop organizational effectiveness solutions. Identify and take action on coaching opportunities including the facilitation of individual, team and leadership interventions
Identify trends, build strategies and practices that ensure adoption of Leadership Principles and values across business unit or site
Partner with leadership and recruiting to develop workforce plans and staffing models that support business objectives and advance the business and functions (talent acquisition, onboarding, development, talent movement)
Support the implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance
Advance diversity and inclusion efforts for the business by driving the organization's diversity plan and leading implementation plans
Identifies org design needs and partners with business to develop communication and change management plans
Partners with leadership to identify measures necessary to foster productive and positive work environments that retain and engage employees
Creates strategic plans to address workplace environment and retention issues within business, may delegate components of plan to others on team
Deals with complex or sensitive investigations in consultation with management.
Looks for patterns, trends or risks internally and externally that effect employee workplace or relations. Keeps leaders informed and influences the need for action
Support execution of talent acquisition and expansion strategies
Partners with Talent Acquisition to build talent assessment capability within the business and consults on recruiting process improvement initiatives
Supports Talent Acquisition in analysis of sourcing strategy, provides data and feedback of strategy to business leaders
Supports new hire engagement for leaders, leads new leader assimilation
Partners with leadership team to ensure talent metrics are achieved for department/organization and/or site
Identified broader themes in performance related matters, identifies root causes and takes action and/or coaches managers
Develops succession plans for senior roles, drives identification and management of forward looking promotion slates
Drives consistency in performance management and compensation alignment with market competitiveness, and ensures internal equity within client group
Assesses organization development and training needs, designs programs in conjunction with L&D partners, manages training metrics
This role will provide HR partnership to managers that oversee a large number of non-exempt Associates
Client groups may also include other functions outside of core operations such as technology, project management and/or engineering
Assess business unit's human resources training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate
Implement/administer/interpret corporate policies/programs/procedures
Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential
Provide compensation support including salary planning, salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling
