We are looking for an HR professional with a strong business partner mindset to join our team. The Senior Human Resources Manager (Sr. HRM) is based out of our Hollister, CA site and reports directly to the Vice President of HR. This position directly supports a 200M+ revenue site of 450+ employees to include operations, supply chain, engineering and other associates support personnel. This position is a trusted member of the site leadership staff and operates as a critical business partner to the site General Manager and site leadership team. This position has a HR Generalist and a HR coordinator reporting directly to the role.

This role will require a strategic, collaborative and analytical HR leader who uses creative and innovative thinking to resolve complex business and HR challenges. The ideal candidate isn't afraid to take appropriate risks and should have a track record of leading as a change agent, assessing current situations, anticipating challenges and providing solutions that add value and promote a culture of change and HR leadership.

Key areas of responsibility include talent development, performance management, staffing, employee relations, organizational development, strategic compensation as well as serving as a champion of engagement and employee value strategies. While the focus of this role will remain on the business partnership at the site, a working knowledge and ability to execute in the areas of benefits and HR systems will be required. Demonstrated ability in utilizing data analytics to drive HR decision and strategy is strongly preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and drive HR strategy for the site in partnership with the site leader and HRVP

  • Anticipate and adjust strategy as needed to meet changing business and talent needs

  • Establish strong relationships and operate as a trusted business advisor to understand issues/concerns at all levels of the organization and influence outcomes / results

  • Lead HR standard work and process for the site in adherence with the HR calendar

  • Manage staffing, organizational development, talent development, compensation, diversity & inclusion, and other HR processes in support of business customers

  • Utilize strong business acumen to drive HR priorities, objectives and action

  • Use data analytics to identify themes and make proactive recommendations for improvement

  • Drive performance management throughout the year by coaching managers on appropriate goal setting, coaching, and feedback; leading to the annual review process for assigned client groups

  • Provide proactive and structured support and processes in managing talent and performance issues

  • Partner with business leaders and full HR team (to include COEs and greater HR network) to understand and deploy best practice solutions

  • Maintain strong adherence to HR standard work and processes

  • Provide project management and ownership of HR initiatives and process improvement opportunities

  • Use Fortive Business System (FBS) tools to help streamline HR processes and improve customer experiences.

  • Investigate employee/labor issues and make determinations on corrective actions

  • Administer and advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs

  • Advise management of federal and state employment regulatory requirements.

  • Development and maintain site Affirmative Action Plans.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

  • 4+ years of HR experience, including time as a high level HR Business Partner/Generalist

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in MS Excel - ability to manipulate data with strong knowledge of formulas & pivot tables

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in HR or related field

  • HR COE Experience in one or more of the following (Staffing, Learning, Org. Development, Compensation)

  • Ability to adapt & respond effectively to a rapid and complex changing work environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with orientation on results

  • Ability to be comfortable with a high volume workload and not resistant or afraid to "roll up your sleeves"

  • Proven effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions and at all levels

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills refined for customer interaction

  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

  • Demonstrated experience applying independent judgment on employee relations issues and working closely and effectively with leadership at different levels of the organization

  • Employee relations experience as an HR professional supporting operations or corporate functions

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator for our Research Models and Services Department located in Hollister, CA. The HR Administrator will function as an administrative generalist, providing HR guidance and support to all employees in Hollister, CA in all areas of Human Resources. * This is temporary job opportunity* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work closely with line management to ensure HR policies and practices are consistently applied. Recommend changes to site practices. * Produce reports for presentation to site leadership ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy. * Leverage the HRIS system (SuccessFactors) to download reports, format data in Excel, analyze data and prepare it for presentation and or distribution. * Perform basic research and analysis as requested. * Partner with Talent Acquisition to screen candidates for site-based positions. * Partner with candidates and Talent Acquisition on all onboarding activities (pre-employment screening, pre-boarding documents, new hire orientation etc.). * With guidance, investigate employee relations matters and bring to appropriate conclusion. * Assist in the coordination and administration of department and site programs (recognition, training and development etc.) * Partner with the Corporate Benefits team to initiate and track all forms of Leaves of Absence. * Process and track all Workers Compensation claims. * Provide administrative support to employees and managers to maintain compliance with Hollister's time keeping practices and system (TimeSaver). * Partner with Corporate payroll on a weekly basis to ensure that all work time is reported accurately for payroll processing. * Respond to routine questions from employees on HR policies. * Assist with the coordination and execution of site events. * Audit HRIS data as necessary (job codes, bonus codes, etc.) and work with HRIS team to update or correct data in SuccessFactors to ensure accurate data. * Oversee and participate in audits of HR documentation as needed. * Ensure the confidentiality of employee data in the performance of assigned duties. * Ensure all actions comply with local, state and federal regulations and maintain necessary documentation for compliance purposes. * Perform all other related duties as assigned.
