$80-90k+ depending on experience
Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resource Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the HR needs of our warehouse operations. You will be a strategic advisor to the warehouse leadership team, providing expert guidance on all aspects of human resources, including OSHA compliance, safety, employee relations, and talent management. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA standards.
Conduct safety audits and investigations.
Develop and implement safety training programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related activities.
Employee Relations:
Provide support and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary action, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns.
Develop and implement employee engagement programs.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Talent Management:
Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations.
Onboard new employees.
Develop and implement performance management programs.
Provide career development opportunities for employees.
Additional Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the HR department.
Represent the HR department at meetings and events.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Hours, Monday-Friday, must overlap 1st and 2nd shift employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a warehouse setting.
Proven experience in OSHA compliance and safety management.
Strong knowledge of employee relations principles and practices.
Experience with talent management, including recruitment, selection, and performance management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
