Our team is currently in the final stages of choosing a new HRIS system, and we're looking for a Senior HRIS Manager to help us implement it!

What Winning Looks Like:

  • Contribute to the achievement of the HR and IT functions by effectively and efficiently managing the implementation and support of information systems solutions.

  • Support HR functional business processes including Performance, Compensation, Talent, Learning, etc. by introducing leading technology solutions within our new platform.

  • Perform feasibility studies, translate requirements into appropriate designs, define application scope and objectives, prepare proposals, and implement technology solutions that align with HR objectives.

  • Manage resources and tasks, develop contingencies, adjust scope, monitor the project status, control project plans, delegate responsibilities, manage costs and provide feedback throughout the system development lifecycle.

  • Directly supervise and coach project team members as well as to conduct the performance review process for direct reports.

  • Keep up-to-date on HR information systems trends and business models

Skills needed to win:

  • Greater than 5 years of IS/IT experience in business application design and/or systems development, including implementation and configuration of software as a service (SaaS) platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in personnel supervision and career development.

  • Experience with HR business process automation through HRIS platforms such as Paycom, Workday, Taleo, or ServiceNow HRSD is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including defining, organizing, planning, and executing projects throughout technology deployments.

  • Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.

  • Proven ability to design application solutions using the appropriate systems architecture, structures, and network technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively participate in cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities remotely with global teams, colleagues, and managers.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience-appropriate terms.

Responsibilities * Assist the Home Mortgage Operations Site Manager in day-to-day operations of the underwriting team to ensure consistency, efficiency, quality, salability, insurability and data integrity for all loans underwritten * Lead a team of 10-15 Underwriters to deliver outstanding loan quality, customer service and production * Train and coach colleagues on new guidelines and procedures * Interact with Sales and Brokers to resolve escalated issues or disputes and manager approval reviews and overrides * Ensure compliance with corporate policy and procedures * Manage underwriting capacity and daily production. * Assist National Underwriting Manager with research, review and data compilation and analysis as needed * Direct monthly underwriting staff meetings * Manage monthly Quality Assurance reporting responses; use external tools to investigate red flags * Prepare, retrieve, review, distribute and discuss monitoring, exception and deficiency reports * Ensure consistency in the underwriting process by reviewing random loan samples from staff each month * Identify internal opportunities for colleague growth and development Qualifications Required Qualifications * 7+ years underwriting or equivalent experience * 5+ years management or equivalent experience * Excellent organizational skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent customer service and problem solving skills * Ability to supervise the work of others and provide training, direction, and corrective feedback * Experience in a fast-paced environment, with low tolerance for error * History of working independently and in a team environment.
