CSS Tec is hiring for a Senior HRIS Analyst for a Product Development Company within the Mortgage Industry located in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract based opportunity and we are looking for someone who has worked with Workday.
We can work on a c2c or W2 basis.
Where are we in the Workday Implementation? Our client is in live production of the system for Recruiting, HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Payroll; however, they implemented in a very condensed timeline
Day to Day-what will this person be doing?
Change to Business Process, Creating Reports, helping with trouble shooting problems, Security Configurations and possibly integrations
Who will this person be working with? Under the guidance of HR Systems, this person would work with HR Operations, Admin Team and possibly other SME's in HR and Payroll

The Senior HRIS Analyst is a technical role that requires the combined skill sets of an HR Analyst, a Business Analyst and a Program/Database Developer.
The position will partner with the HR team, vendors and other internal customers to analyze and develop solutions to improve processes, ensure the integrity of employee information, and maximize the return on technological capabilities.
The incumbent will create solutions using a combination of development tools such as SQL, MS Access, Cognos Reporting, etc. to ensure employee information is available wherever it is needed in the organization. The position maintains project plans, ensures adherence to schedules/deadlines, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities.
This position is hands-on and requires strong knowledge of HR and HRIS processes as well as a strong background in information technology design and development and will serve as a technical point-of-contact for functional area. Assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
The Senior HRIS Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities:
Program Development: Create solutions to meet business needs by:
Gathering and reviewing user/client requirements
Identifying and evaluating options
Writing programs and code to develop systems and integrations
Performing user acceptance testing
Delivering user training
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve current processes and drive efficient, effective solutions by eliminating unnecessary steps and leveraging technology
System Maintenance: Responsibilities include
Maintain data integrity by identifying, researching, and analyzing problems, implementing improvements
Management of vendor interface, including processing, accuracy, monitoring, error identification and resolution
Ongoing HR system production support, including system configuration, process monitoring, error resolution and upgrades
Updating system tables, codes, and security profiles, work flows, business rules, and password maintenance
Experience Required:
4+ years of Workday experience required - knowledge of setup, architecture, and maintenance
Experience with Workday Recruitment, Payroll, and HCM business processes within Workday
Broad understanding of HR/Payroll processing
Extensive internal customer service/support experience
Overall HR knowledge i.e. knowledge of Recruiting, Employee Admin, Compensation, Payroll, etc.
Advanced MS Excel skills, report development
Exceptional problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, as well as vendors
Ability to multi-task/work effectively in teams
Talent for applying critical thinking and a holistic approach to issues resolution
Customer focus orientation

You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas. Critical Thinking: HRIS analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings. Attention to Detail: Data is precise. HRIS analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions. Math Skills: HRIS analysts need math skills to estimate numerical data. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University. Master's Degree in related field is helpful. At least four years of prior Human Resources experience in a high-volume environment. Prior successful work HRIS work experience in a multi-site, multi-user relational database environment (such as with Ceridian HRIS and/or UltiPro) is required. Knowledge of cloud-based HRIS/Payroll Systems with Time and Attendance integration is a plus. Outstanding organizational and administrative skills. Integrity in all matters and outstanding level of confidentiality and vigilance for data security. Typing (i.e., keyboarding) skills of 60 WPM, with high accuracy. At least three years of previous data management experience with a large integrated HRIS database system (1000+ records) is required.
