The Role
AspenTech is the world's leading supplier of software that optimizes process manufacturing. We have an exciting and challenging career opportunity on our HRIS Operations team. This role will provide the right candidate with exposure to a variety of areas within the HR department, as well as the ability to build deep technical skills in administering our Workday HCM platform. The primary purpose and function of the Senior HRIS Analyst is to act as the Workday technical subject matter expert, provide HR system administration and support, and lead Workday HR system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts. Additionally, this individual will serve as the liaison between business teams, 3rd party vendors, and IT for system integrations, enhancements, and issue fixes. This role will report to the Director, HR Operations & HRIS.
Your Impact
Configure and support various Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence, Learning, Talent, Performance, Reporting, and Onboarding.
Provide Tier 2 employee support on inquiries via ticketing system, including technology assistance, issue remediation, and escalation management.
Offer technical guidance and training to Tier 1 HRIS Analyst.
Assist and at times lead projects to optimize Workday module utilization, simplify processes, and improve data accuracy.
Recommend process improvements, providing innovative suggestions and solutions as well as downstream impacts.
Create, schedule, and maintain reports.
Prepare end-user documentation and training materials and conduct training sessions with various user groups.
Support Workday releases, which may include assisting with Regression testing.
Maintain awareness of emerging technology trends and innovative solutions to encourage process automation, support optimization, and inspire technology simplification in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
What You'll Need
3+ years of prior dedicated Workday experience.
Knowledge of calc fields, advanced reporting, business processes, and security a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel data functions.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor.
Attention to detail with the ability to effectively exercise critical thinking to solution issues.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills within SaaS applications.
Ability to effectively present technical and functional information in a manner that is understandable to all levels of the organization.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
