Zillow Group is looking for a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. The HRBP will be a strategic advisor to the Zillow Offers Advisors Team serving as the guide for people process and practice. This dynamic group of real estate guides serve as the first point of contact for potential sellers interested in selling their home to Zillow. The Zillow Offers business is in high-growth mode and we are looking for someone that can thrive in ambiguous situations and scale the team while building rich relationships.

About the role

In this role, you will have the ability to travel up to 50% of their time supporting management and employees in our Seattle, Denver, Dallas and Atlanta and other TBD locations.

Key accountabilities to include, but not be limited to; organization design, talent management, employee relations, compensation planning, leadership development, performance management, workforce planning, and culture building.

  • You will collaborate with business leadership, HR Director and broader HR team to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.

  • Partner with leaders at multiple levels and their teams to develop and execute HR strategies and activities that cultivate growth, innovation and organizational effectiveness. This includes developing and implementing programs, processes and tools to help set managers and employees up for success.

  • Assess HR needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas in partnership with our HR centers of excellence.

  • Partner with business leadership and our recruiting team to successfully launch Zillow Offers markets with capable teams sourced internally and externally.

  • Enhance the managerial capabilities of leaders through leading group training, round tables and 1:1 coaching sessions tailoring insights to the unique, location specific opportunities.

  • Coach and counsel managers on building culture and positive employee engagement. May include conducting investigations in response to issues and working with HR Director to recommend/implement courses of action based on investigation results.

  • Create the foundation of HR process and practice in partnership with key leaders in Recruiting, Operations, Product, Finance, Internal Mobility, and HR.

  • Support the analysis and facilitation of leadership and cultural initiatives. Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects our core values.

  • Serve as partner to our Employee Resource Groups (Affinity Networks) leadership councils.

  • Lead the communication and rollout of HR programs and projects, in alignment with HRBP team.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned which may include cross-team initiatives across all U.S. locations.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of HR-related experience

  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced ambiguous multi-location business and navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.

  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and experience in developing, executing and maintaining HR projects and programs.

  • Demonstrable ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions, stabilizing the needs of the business while being an employee advocate

  • Effective emotional intelligence to quickly establish relationships across.

  • Drive effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills as well as social and coaching skills.

  • You have validated ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.

  • Excellent computer skills in MS Windows environment, including MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint), and report preparation and updating.

  • Experience with HCM systems (Workday) preferred.

  • Able to handle workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.

  • Able to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results.

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP), will be responsible for maintaining and administration of Tilray Human Resource policies and programs. HRBP supports management and employees to work towards departmental and company goals. Possess a strong knowledge of multiple facets of Human Resource with an emphasis on Performance Management, Employee Relations and Change Management. The incumbent will demonstrate a proactive and solution orientation and excel in the competencies of: HR subject matter expertise; accurate, targeted and concise communication; proactive collaboration, and meaningful reporting. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide customer services by partnering with clients to manage performance, employee relations, compensation, training and development, records management, succession planning, and retention. * Participate and collaborate in the administration, research, development and implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and practices. * Conduct investigations, recommend progressive discipline in collaboration with client area manager. * In consultation with HR Manager, creates development plans and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) with stakeholder departments. * Ensure compliance and communication of employment standards, legal requirements and advising on needed actions. * Provide direction on leave and disability programs. * Document human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. * Support the planning of on-site initiatives, events and projects. * Coordinate the planning, scheduling, delivery and recording of training events. * Maintain statistics, records, and prepare reports upon request. * Facilitate and promote a collective team approach that enhances our corporate culture based on company values across the organization.
