Senior HR Associate, Medical Accommodations
We are searching for a self-motivated person to join our ADAAA and Medical Accommodation team. The successful candidate will work directly with our associates and their leadership team in providing short term and long term ADA accommodations in accordance with Title I of the ADAAA. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking skills along with a very strong focus on the associate experience.
Engage in the interactive process with associates requesting leave, modifications to assist in performing the essential functions of their jobs, ergonomic solutions, or other adjustments to aid in performing task and/or reassignment
Perform activities defined in the accommodation services and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in a timely manner
Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment
Deliver on an excellent associate experience
Perform end-to-end case management for Title I cases; update system interactions, recommendation options, assess risk, resolve issues and escalate as appropriate
Participate in agile pods and activities; updating internal ADA Toolkit, training and other duties assigned by Team lead/Leave manager.
Able to drive projects and task to completion autonomously
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of Microsoft Office experience
At least 1 year of customer service experience
At least 1 year of experience in Benefits
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
1+ year knowledge of federal and state disability laws regarding access for people with disabilities; specifically, ADA and FMLA
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Detail orientation with ability to problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities and excellent follow up skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
