Job Summary

The Senior Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services and performs floor care and function set-ups and breakdowns according to established schedule and productivity standards to ensure the facility is maintained according to corporate policies, housekeeping guidelines and individual resident needs or requests.

Shift(s):

Part Time

  • 5:30pm-9:30pm, Monday-Friday

Job Details & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency or combination of education and experience to fulfill requirements and essential duties of the position

  • One to two years directly related work experience

  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements

  • Shampoo, buff, mop, extract and wax all types of flooring

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all assigned areas

  • Maintain trash chute rooms by removing trash and ensuring cleanliness

  • Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of chairs and wheelchairs

  • Maintain and clean various light fixtures throughout the continuum

  • Experience using riding vacuums/equipment and buffers, carpet extractor, wet vac and vacuum cleaners, cleaning cart, ladders and 2 way radios

  • Inspect and clean all equipment before and after use

  • Perform in-house moves

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and execute work assignments from residents/staff through verbal and/or written instructions

  • Desire to work with senior adults and ability to respond in a patient, compassionate, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, guest, staff, and the public is essential

  • Offers of employment are conditioned on applicants meeting requirements of a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Job Summary The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services according to established schedule and productivity standards to ensure the facility is maintained according to corporate policies, housekeeping guidelines and individual resident needs or requests. Shift(s): Full Time * 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Job Details & Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: * High School Diploma or equivalency or combination of education and experience to fulfill requirements and essential duties of the position * One to two years directly related work experience * Must be able to communicate effectively and execute work assignments from residents/staff through verbal and/or written instructions * Remove all soiled linens/towels and all solid waste from each assigned apartment to ensure quality infection control; sanitize all containers in the process * Make beds according to departmental standards for assigned areas * Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchens and provide clean bed linens and towels according to departmental standards to minimize the spread of germs and ensure sanitary conditions * Perform high and low dusting throughout apartments and public areas to provide clean ventilation of areas * Perform floor care to consist of sweeping, vacuuming and mopping according to departmental standards to provide a clean and safe environment * Desire to work with senior adults and ability to respond in a patient, compassionate, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, guest, staff, and the public is essential * Offers of employment are conditioned on applicants meeting requirements of a pre-employment drug screening and background check Options Westminster Canterbury Richmond Richmond VA
