Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Healthcare (Hospital) Technology Project Manager with strong legacy system migration experience. Heath Care Information Systems implementation experience is required.

Key Accountabilities:
Develops and manages the execution of a comprehensive and repeatable business migration/ cutover plan (including pre-migration, migration, and post-migration activities) that includes sunsetting of legacy applications.
Defines and implements processes/ tools to enable conversion, validation, and reconciliation of customer's data on future state platform.
Assesses client's conversion/ migration methodology and deliverables to identify and drive resolution to any gaps which may exist.
Manages day-to-day migration planning and sunsetting activities.
Owns and drives the resolution of cross-functional dependencies, requirements, and issues; coordinates with client stakeholders to elicit and confirm business direction.
Identifies and mitigates issues/ risks which may impact migration readiness.
Manages status reporting, budget planning and tracking.
Partners with the Conversion Lead and Legacy Knowledge Owner to manage the project.
Understands and complies with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures and standards.
Supports the integration of information security in the development, design and implementation of technology resources that process, transmit or store information.

Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Healthcare IT or related field.
10+ years of specific IT Hospital Project Management experience required.
Heath Care Information Systems implementation experience is required.
EMR/EHR project and/or program management experience.
EPIC experience.
End-to-end, full project lifecycle experience.
Expertise in legacy system migration.
Prior healthcare experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to manage advanced-level, multi-million-dollar projects.

This PM will be responsible for onsite project management support with hospital operations including clinical, revenue cycle and integration of Cerner platform. Role Responsibilities * Responsible for consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle as aligned to the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) * Understands service offerings so that they can identify and articulate new business opportunities and provide sales support * Drives all aspects of project management activity, including collaborating and coordinating across the organization and ensuring the following: * Changes that affect scope, schedule and resources are identified, managed and controlled with an integrated and cohesive plan * Scope is defined, approved, managed, controlled; ensuring completed deliverables are accepted by the customer * Schedule is developed and managed to on-time delivery * Costs are estimated and managed to deliver project within customer approved budget, while preserving profit margins * Resources are assigned and managed effectively and efficiently * Risks and issues are proactively identified and managed * High quality is planned and delivered on the project, meeting all agreed upon requirements and ensuring high customer satisfaction through the management of the overall customer experience * Communications are planned and conducted during the project to ensure stakeholders are involved, expectations are accurately set, managed, and key stakeholders receive adequate communications throughout the project lifecycle and this includes customer and NTT DATA Stakeholders * Purchases are planned and suppliers are managed efficiently and according to policy Requirements * Undergraduate degree and 6+ years project management experience or Graduate degree and 4+ years of project management experience * PMP Certification * Must have healthcare infrastructure experience within last 4 years * 2+ years of Healthcare Provider experience * 2+ years working in a Waterfall Methodology environment * Prior experience with PMO - Healthcare Program Management * Prior experience in business transformation consulting * In addition to the accountabilities defined for this PM role: the candidate must have experience with hospital operations including clinical, revenue cycle, and integration with Cerner application foundations This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
