Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops full understanding of clinical programs being measured

  • Manages projects to completion by contributing to database creation statistical modeling and financial reports

  • Identifies and implements appropriate analytic approaches and methodologies and sets performance targets

  • Performs statistical analyses to determine effectiveness of clinical programs (e.g. pre-post analysis, clinical trial results)

  • Participates in the development of business strategy when necessary

  • Extracts, aggregates, and quality assurance on applicable data from multiple sources and tables for purposes of root cause analysis

  • Performs data analytics in support of trend identification, initiative, program development, and validation

  • Communicate results to relevant audiences and customers

  • Provides ongoing communications on project status, results, and conclusions from analyses

  • Leads projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling, and financial reports

  • Interprets and analyzes clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches

  • Creates and updates automated processes

  • Analyzes reporting tools to investigate sources of variations

  • Produces and reviews reports

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Healthcare Analytics Experience or Financial experience in the Healthcare Industry

  • 5 years of experience using SQL, intermediate to advanced level skills

  • Statistical analytics background, familiar with statistics-based modeling (i.e. biostatistics, clinical data management, etc.)

  • Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present ideas and concepts effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or Health Administration

  • Experience with Python, R highly preferred

  • Experience with Teradata SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SAS

  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools highly preferred

  • Experience analyzing healthcare claims data
