Position Summary
Employee/Labor Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the wellbeing of employees including:
hazardous conditions within the workplace
and working conditions
and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent
their recurrence
ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to
employee health and safety
to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory
agencies
Responsibilities
Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
Required: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Safety & Health and 3+ years of relevant experience.
Industrial Hygiene Experience preferred
