The Senior Human Capital Management Systems Analyst, People Analytics is a senior-level position within the HCMS team structure. This individual contributor role is responsible for proactively building and executing all facets of the enterprise People Analytics Strategy; specifically, establishing HR analytics and standards that support the HR Centers of Excellence, Entity HR, and Entity Leadership needs.

The People Analytics function will provide actionable insights that enable the organization to meet its business goals. The Sr. People Analytics Analyst works closely with Network Leadership to establish standard metric definitions that will be used to benchmark across the organization, as well as develop specific metrics that support unique business lines and initiatives.

Finally, the Sr. People Analytics Analyst partners with Information Technology and Network Analytics on cross-functional initiatives that require HR related data.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the development and execution of the Network's People Analytics strategy.

  • Identifies and implements tools and metrics to support overall strategy. Continuously enhances solutions as portfolio usage matures.

  • Works with all levels of network leadership to promote the use of people data to support workforce decision making by developing standard performance metrics to be used across the network. Works with Stakeholders to understand the need for standard metric definitions.

  • Establishes practices and solutions that support broad spectrum of entity needs.

  • Works proactively with HR and Entity Leadership to support critical initiatives. Uses People data to provide insights into business challenges.

  • Works with HR Centers of Excellence Leaders to develop People Analytics to support their business needs.

  • Drives enabling self-service people analytics tools for the organization.

  • Delivers regular and ad-hoc reporting solutions using portfolio of technologies including Workday People Analytics, Workday Prism, and Tableau.

  • Partners closely with Information Technology Teams on use and administration of HR data needed for other systems and initiatives. Establishes processes and procedures for appropriate use and control of HR data by other systems.

  • Leads and or participates in optimization projects to help business users and Centers of Excellence to realize full potential of Workday. Independently manages projects and initiatives from scoping to deployment.

  • Leverages strong understanding of cross-functional configuration between Workday Modules to deliver comprehensive technical solutions.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact ensuring data integrity, system security and maintenance, system modifications, report writing, document maintenance, system audits and recommendations for process changes.

  • Perform audits of data to preserve its integrity and accuracy. Regularly review user procedures/workflow to ensure system features are being fully utilized. Identify features that may improve efficiency.

  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HCMS with a focus on People Analytics technologies and best practices. Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Participates in user group meetings/conferences.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DEMANDS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds.

Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision, and visual monotony.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or other related field required

Workday Pro Certification(s), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

5-7 years of experience in the development and support of Human Capital Management Systems required

Significant experience as an HR Data Reporting and Analytics Analyst supporting large organizations using ERP Human Capital Management Systems; must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations and an ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization required

Effective organization and time management skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently; proficient with Microsoft Office required

7-10 years of experience in the development and support in Human Capital Management Systems preferred

Previous experience with Workday People Analytics and Prism; Workday Pro Certified in HCM Core, Security, Compensation, Benefits Administration, Time Tracking, or Payroll preferred

Works with HCMS Analyst and Business COE's to develop process improvement opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Ensures data integrity related to all Human Resources information management process and transactions.</p></li><li><p>Review audit reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure system functionality</p></li><li><p>Proactively provide guidance and training to end users on business process, system and tools</p></li><li><p>Will serve as a resource on projects to provide assistance with UAT testing</p></li></ul><p>Physical/Sensory Demands:</p><p>Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time.
