About the Team

The Growth Marketing Team leads the company's efforts to acquire new eaters across a variety of channels. This is more than the ambition of expanding audiences, increasing traffic and conversion rate whilst keeping CAC low. CookUnity has an incredible chef-driven story to tell-and a mind-blowing, must-taste product to introduce to the world. And because of this, the sky's the limit in crafting an alluring proposition and leveraging magnetic content. We have an incredible mission, as a marketing team, to not simply shake up the known Weekly Meal Plans and On-Demand Food Delivery categories, but usher in a new era of the chef-centric marketplace.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will lead our paid social channel growth strategy to scale customer acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Snap and test and learn into emerging channels such as Twitch, X as well as other social media platforms. As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager of Paid Social, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating user acquisition across CookUnity's ideal customer segments, leveraging a mix of creative, technology, measurement and product strategies to accelerate subscriptions while maintaining efficient CACs. You will develop and deliver upon data and insight-driven performance marketing plans and collaborate with a cross-functional team of growth specialists across broadcast media, digital and offline growth as well as CRO and audience management.

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager of Paid Social within CookUnity's in-house growth team will be responsible for the overall paid social media strategy to achieve performance objectives. Bringing expert knowledge of the social landscape and applying insights based on data and consumer behavior, our candidate will scale our paid social channel while also keeping the executive leadership informed on emerging trends and technologies. The leader will bring a product oriented mindset along with a strong media background to drive the product roadmap with our key partners and internal stakeholders across Brand, Technology, Data and Product. The role will be responsible for the development of forward-thinking, holistic paid social media strategies across the company.

Reporting to the Director of Performance the Senior Growth Marketing Manager of Paid Social will oversee campaigns across paid social channels, leverage data and testing to optimize performance, and work cross-functionally with the creative, data and tech teams to support channel growth. The leader will collaborate closely with the CRM, Performance Creative, Branding, as well as cross-functional teamwork with Product, Tech, and Design teams.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will be responsible for day-to-day campaign management in Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, and emerging digital marketing channels

  • Own key performance marketing campaigns and execution of paid social budget

  • Monitor performance metrics and campaign budget tracking, ensuring actionable insights are shared and coordinated into the team's workflow

  • Dig into performance data to understand the "why" behind performance and identify follow-up opportunities and tests to improve outcomes

  • Be an integral and early member of a fast-growing team-this is a unique opportunity for a digital marketer to scale their impact

  • Collaborate with our internal performance creative and content teams to develop and launch customer-centric creative tests across a variety of formats

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, with an emphasis on paid social within high-growth DTC companies

  • A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role

  • Excellent leadership skills that help attract and develop outstanding marketing talent, challenge people to excel and elicit their sustained high performance - a great team player and fun to work with

  • Collaborative attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Google Analytics, or Looker

  • A creative-minded person with a strong interest in developing a cohesive brand presence across marketing touchpoints

  • Outstanding degree of understanding in a marketing or tech-related subject (e.g. AdTech, Data Science, Engineering, economics, marketing, business)

  • Generate solutions from deconstructing problems derived from qualitative (e.g., branding, design, campaign creatives) and quantitative (e.g., performance, attribution, LTV) marketing challenges

  • Experience in managing large marketing budgets

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$140,000-$165,000 USD
