We are seeking a Senior Growth, Engagement & Monetization Manager for our US Prime Video Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) service. The Growth, Engagement & Monetization team is accountable for overall member/user performance and growing the business to create a fundamentally healthy service at scale across the SVOD business as well as hitting our short and long-term service KPIs (e.g., monthly active users, churn rate). You will work across our Business, Programming, Marketing, Product, Ads, TVOD, Channels and FAST teams to drive alignment and execution on how to best achieve SVOD service-level performance outcomes. You will work on strategies to hit our shared membership growth targets with our global Prime team as well as work with our Prime Video Product and Tech teams to ensure their roadmaps are prioritized and aligned to our acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization business objectives. This role is part of the larger Prime Video US SVOD organization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and drive end-to-end service wide acquisition, re-activation, engagement, and retention/churn strategy of our customers for PV US across Prime, Programming, Marketing, Tech and Product teams.

  • Grow the business and increase penetration of our priority audience and customer targets across the service, including our shared audience targets with US Prime. Align our Programming, Marketing, Product and Tech to best drive service growth in these segments.

  • Help establish and implement a vision, strategy, and mental model for member performance across the PV US organization to align and best optimize our core activities to these service level outputs.

  • Be a primary liaison for our Product and Tech teams to ensure subscription ingresses, engagement automation, and churn management plans are prioritized and aligned to our business strategy.

  • Be a primary liaison for our worldwide and US Prime teams for PV US. Develop and lead shared roadmaps and objectives that best drive acquisition and retention.

  • Work with our Finance, Economist, and Data Science teams to further improve our tools, forecasting, and predictive models as it relates to service wide growth, engagement, and monetization.

  • Work with our Non-Prime Strategy, Distribution and Business Development teams (e.g., Fuse, Partnerships), across Prime and Prime Video to maximize addressable market and user acquisition, ensuring all teams are aligned and fully supported.

  • Lead and drive the improvement of our business tactics, in regards to service performance, working closely with our Shopping, Marketing, O&O, and Programming teams to ensure our experimentation roadmaps are aligned and driving towards one vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience leading business verticals/functions accountable for driving business performance

  • Experience working cross-functionally with highly matrixed teams

  • Experience in excel, data mining, data management, and reporting

  • Quantitative skills and experience with financial and/or analytical modeling and analysis

  • Experience driving alignment and establishing priorities across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Experience working in highly analytical and strategic environments (e.g. strategy, business, and analytics functions)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent

  • 8+ years of experience leading business verticals/functions accountable for driving business performance

  • Relevant work experience in the media, entertainment, gaming, music, or related industries

  • Prior experience driving customer growth and performance (engagement/retention) for subscription/engagement businesses

  • Strength in leading by influence with an ability to inspire and align stakeholders to achieve a specific goal

  • Comfortable working in a deeply collaborative, technical, and creative organization

  • A hands on leader who is able to operate at all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical background with a passion for data analysis

  • Experience working with Product and Tech teams to drive improvements in business performance

  • Advanced knowledge of experimentation strategies

  • Exceptional project and program management skills

  • A passion for Film, TV, and consumer entertainment businesses

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
