The Graphic Designer participates in the whole development cycle for websites, apps, and other marketing materials. This includes discovery, information architecture, graphic design, development, QA, documentation and deployment.
The Graphic Designer's typical day would include brand and creative concepts: conduct research, gather inspiration, and design overarching brand and visual concepts in accordance to business and functional requirements, UX/UI design: create site maps, user flow maps, wireframes, content architecture, and designs that fulfill project requirements, maintenance and management: work on assigned on one-off or ongoing management and updates of client websites, email campaigns, and other marketing campaigns, activity logging: keep track of work done, input updates into systems, meetings and conference calls: provide regular updates, participate in team discussions, attend client meetings. Advanced working knowledge and experience using design and prototyping software/tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch3, InVision, etc.). Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Apps. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Strong communication skills, both in verbal and written forms. Ability to explain or justify design recommendations. Open to constructive criticism and learning. Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and in teams.
