The Senior Government Contracts Manager is an individual contributor role that sits within Zebra’s North America Sales Organization and is responsible for managing a variety of contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company procedures, applicable laws and government requirements.

This role will be compensated with a salary plus variable pay structure.

This remote role can be based anywhere in the US. ~ 25% travel is to be expected.

Responsibilities:

The Government Contracts Manager is responsible for preparing proposals; writing contract terms and conditions; preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status; reviewing contractual obligations; identifying risks and problems, and proposing solutions; and reporting to project teams, accounting staff and management. They also act as liaisons among companies and government agencies.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• 5 + years of direct experience managing government contracts in the tech industry

• Strong knowledge of Federal contracts

• Must reside in the US with the ability to travel ~ 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skilled at negotiating contract terms and conditions

• Experience with the handling of solicitations and requests for proposals.

• Experience from a Zebra competitor or network operator a strong differentiator

• Complete understanding and application of contract principles, concepts, practices, and standards

Salary: USD 102600.00 - USD 153800.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
