Description

As part of the Demand and Supply Management (DSM) function, Supply & Inventory Planning organization is charged with aligning and driving best practices across demand planning, supply planning, inventory purchasing/management and other up/downstream partners. This is achieved through collaboration with leaders across the geographies, product engines and technology support groups.

We must inspire adoption of best practices globally. With quality inputs and processes, we will be able to fully leverage the sophisticated system algorithms to optimize our demand/supply match. As the Process Governance Sr. Analyst, you will help Nike realize the benefits of its planning systems/processes through implementing strong governance of planning parameters, running simulation scenarios, pro-actively managing data quality and driving best practices.

In this role you will create and utilize process tools that positively impact productivity and accountability by managing critical parameters and processes to support E2E Nike supply chain.

Planning Parameter Best Practices

  • Work with business partners to create and/or update policy, process and procedure documentation that accurately reflects aligned best practices for planning parameters.

  • Work with analytics partners to develop/enhance metrics and tools allowing visibility into process alignment and impact analysis.

  • Monitor gaps and discrepancies to understand impact to business to foster awareness, truest and strengthen ownership of accountability.

Data Quality

  • Monitor overall data quality for key planning attributes and work with business experts to understand and resolve root causes of issues to increase the trust, speed, and quality of

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for an extraordinary trailblazer with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in supply chain related work experience. End-to-end supply chain knowledge with specific planning experience a plus.

  • Understands the business benefits of good governance.

  • Possesses a quick learning agility and strong business acumen with the ability to connect cross-functional and global business process.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills by actively seeking information and listening to key constituents, understanding what needs to be achieved and influencing change when needed.

  • Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management, understand trade-offs and make a decision.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and communicating complex concepts across different leadership levels.

  • Ability to network, influence and utilize internal and external resources across the globe.

  • Hands-on, getting things done attitude.

  • Ability to travel approximately 5-10 % of the time.

Description Nike's Global Controlling Operations (GCO) organization provides operational support via a shared delivery model to stakeholders throughout the world. As the Reporting Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and furthering the governance processes around Nike's financial reporting data, which is delivered to a wide variety of stakeholders throughout NIKE, Inc. This position partners across Finance and Technology to ensure reliability in complete and accurate reporting throughout the organization. The Reporting Governance Analyst will be critical in providing support through the following responsibilities: * Support governance and control processes around Nike's financial reporting data * Support the reporting governance team in owning and developing certified, standard, and ad hoc financial reporting * Implement financial report changes as needed and in accordance with change management policies * Partner with the larger Global Reporting & Data Governance Team (comprised of Monthly Reporting, Master Data, and BPC Administration) to align on timing and, if necessary, implement reporting changes based on organizational or project outcomes * Partner cross functionally with Controlling and Finance to evaluate and consolidate reporting needs * Provide excellent customer service to key stakeholders * Display an exemplary ability to dive into complex data and provide solutions to issues that arise from a technical or data perspective Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, and/or Information Systems preferred) * 2-4+ years' relevant experience - which includes experience with a National public accounting firm or with a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company * Relevant professional certification (CPA, CISA, etc.) preferred but not required * Experience with financial and/or information technology auditing, financial reporting, accounting principles, and data analytics * Experience implementing and/or evaluating internal controls over key financial data and financial reporting * Advanced MS Excel skills (VBA & advanced nested formulas) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, risks, and recommendations with leadership team * A proven track record of delivering high quality results on globally and regionally-based projects * Exemplary customer service and cross-functional interpersonal skills * Strong desire to learn and continuously improve * Excellent organizational skills, metrics driven attitude, and elevated attention to details * Act as an SME to leverage Company tools (SAP, BPC, EPM, BW) and technology to access all required information accurately NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
