Title of Position: Senior Global EHS Project Manager

Immediate Supervisor: General Manager, SGS Galson (also works closely with EHS Global Key Account Managers Americas, EMEA, APAC)

Responsibilities and Duties of Position:

  • Supervises project management staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of requested services, including completion of invoicing and payments

  • Serves as liaison/account manager for EHS clients as directed

  • Implements and manages field and/or consulting service requests from the Global EHS Team and/or SGS Affiliates as they relate to our subcontractor technical abilities and resources to execute the requested service.

  • Performs technical audits of industrial hygiene proposals, reports, lab data, and invoices for quality, accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contract requirements for assigned global accounts.

  • Evaluates and negotiates with potential EHS subcontractors for addition to subcontractor network.

  • Provides on-site technical support to affiliates when CIH participation is required. Produces technical reports and client presentations as required.

  • Negotiates and controls communications regarding unique instances that arise, between the client management, SGS Affiliate, the subcontractor, and the client field sites.

  • Functions as Subject Matter Expert on Industrial Hygiene topics as required.

  • Prepares proposals/response to bid opportunities as directed

  • Participates in special projects as needed

  • Responsible for developing and documenting an effective project management system and continually looking for ways to improve that process.

  • Responsible to communicate key information to client services group and accounting team on all aspects necessary to ensure timely delivery and payment/invoicing of services.

  • Assists accounting team in follow up on project invoicing/payments

  • Provides total client responsiveness.

  • Responsible for keeping all account/project records up to date in real time.

  • Responsible for listening to client to have a full understanding of any conversation that takes place and then being able to document any conversations with client.

  • Responsible for being 100% thorough when meeting client whether it be verbally, in writing or through their sample submittals.

  • Attends data integrity training and signs off acknowledging understanding.

  • Ensures cleanliness of work area.

  • Responsible for the timely response to all e-mail, voicemail, verbal and written requests.

  • Operates within the guiding principles of the company.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Understands and always adheres to all aspects of the safety program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of professional service experience. Certification by American Board of Industrial Hygiene preferred. Ability to travel overseas.

  • Upbeat, positive attitude; excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with people at all levels and from differing cultures; detail-oriented; client service mentality; commercial awareness.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb stairs, occasionally reach with hands and arms, bend, twist, and lift, up to 20 pounds, and regularly sit while using a computer, phone and other technologies. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Position Overview: The Global Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for development, deployment and execution of supplier performance improvement processes in alignment with business initiatives and priorities, the Eaton Quality Management System, and Corporate strategies, policies and procedures. The position works closely with Group, Division and plant quality and SCM leaders to manage the performance of a highly capable supply base to support the achievement of business goals. This role will work closely with functional leadership with strategy development, deployment of standard processes and tools, and drives improvement of key supplier performance metrics across Crouse Hinds, B-Line and Oil and Gas. In this function you will: * Provide functional support for deployment of supplier performance management tools and processes to drive overall improvement in supplier performance with an intense focus on highest impact, poorest performing suppliers. Develops strategy to establish and improve relationship with supplier and improvement that drives overall business metrics. * Work directly with regional, divisional and plant Quality and SCM teams to engage key suppliers to drive improved quality and delivery results using proven EQMS methodologies and analytical problem-solving tools. * Support new supplier qualification and the Supplier Site Assessment process, liaising with the Pune SSC team, in support of sourcing initiatives related to NPD, STP, cost out, localization, etc. * Responsible for Division deployment and refinement of supplier development and performance improvement processes such as Business Reviews for strategic suppliers, Focus Supplier and SQPI processes, including procurement, quality and delivery metrics. * Systematically gather and report supplier performance metrics including monitoring, trending, and analysis for the Division so that actionable data is available for sourcing decisions, supplier performance reviews, selection of suppliers for quality development and supplier recognition. Evaluates results and oversees the supplier development of improvement plans to close gaps and goals. * Partner with the Corporate SAP QM teams and functional leaders, coordinates projects to effectively implement and deploy SAP QM system level improvements and improve the accuracy of the PPM and OTP data maintained in SAP for all Crouse Hinds, B Line and Oil and Gas sites * Take an active leadership role in the PROLaunch process to ensure flawless product and/or process launches with suppliers. Responsible to ensure that supplier quality deliverables are completed according to standard per the pre-gate functional review process.
